Jen-- Congratulations on the new job! That is so exciting! I would love to hear what kind of ideas you come up with for that curriculum.

Question: Is there a complete list of all of the DIS cruisers (including stateroom # and DISname)? I have the list from my FE group (I think we are #2), but I know there is also all of FE #1 and the FE #3 and non-FE people. Would it be possible to compile such a list? (We had a fun little "gift" tradition on our last cruise that I would like to continue if possible.) Thanks!

I have group one and two lists but can't help you with group three sorry!!

The girls are having their first sleep-over tonight and they are in their room talking about what they are going to wear on Pirate-Night!!

Jessie, is sleeping over (Janeanne & Keith's daughter) the girls are having such FUN talking about the cruise!!

Thanks! I am having fun thinking of projects. One project my students can pick to work on is to create podcasts reading their favorite picture books in English and then in Spanish (we have a very high Hispanic population). I am working to find an elementary school in Mexico that we could share our podcasts with. We want to work at improving our literacy as well as promoting literacy around the world.

I plan on having a huge bunch of choices like that, along with the opportunity for them to come up with their own project, for them to pick from.

I think the closest thing we have is the list of DIS Cruisers on my website. I also know that that list is missing a lot of people. I could work at getting people to send me their information if that would help?

Laura-Safe Travels to you and DGH! We are going to see if we can make the Poly meet, but we have a lot of people to make happy in our group, so I will have to play it by ear!

Val-I love the serving dishes on the Dream, too! That is why I plan on bringing a BIG purse! Kidding, of course

YES, you DO!!! I can't say enough about this. I will never pack without it again. It holds SOOOOO much and packs flat and hangs.

Which one do you have-the pack flat or Portage Jr? Others please chime in if you have one and what you like about it I have a few days to make up my mind. I do carry on a few products "just in case" something happens to my bag, but since we're going 2 weeks it would be more practical to carry some full size. Worst case I suppose I could order both and return one...

What did you end up deciding to do about the concierge people on 11/12 and FE gifts? (Also--no magnetic doors in concierge?? )

If I could just get a list of stateroom/DISname of those NOT in FE #1 or #2, those are the only one's I'm missing. Please just PM me if you want to get on my list!

Just so you know....I have 2 of the Portage Jr toiletry bags and love them. They are a bit smaller but will work perfect for us. There is a great video on the site that is pretty accurate to what they are like. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about them.

I can confirm that the concierge staterooms aren't magnetic on the Dream. I tested this out when we sailed in May in stateroom 12008. So no magnets on those doors. I missed seeing decorated doors in my hallway on that trip.

LOL,, they only got through a small portion of their planned activities!!e

They ate lunch, swam, went on the trampoline, played the Harry Potter Game that the girls made, swam, ate dinner, and watched Harry Potter!!

They to sleep finally about 10:15 or so!!

The Concierge Gate is open during the day so gifts can get delivered during the day only.

Beth, I am thinking I will decorate the inside of the door maybe??

Anyone, interested in meeting Aug. 15th? A few of us who are staying @ CIS & Residence Inn are planning on meeting on the 15th.

We will be meeting if the weather permits @ the pool at the Residence Inn. If the weather does not cooperate then in the lobby of the Residence Inn. We are planning on ordering dinner from a local Italian Restr. if anyone would like to join us the more the merrier. I think most of us will be there by 4:30-5:00. So hope you can join us!!

I thought maybe I read the other walls (at least inside the cabin were) so yes no door decorations, but you can put your magnets inside

Kristin, will they let you use poster sticky tack to put stuff up? I can't imagine that would hurt their doors. That is a bummer not to be able to decorate your door, that's how I tell which room is ours. I guess you'll have a FE to tell where you are.

(Mine is "In My Backyard")
