Thanks for the well wishes everyone! The funny thing is that while at the hospital, I told DH that we were a very accident group. :goodvibes so, even I was thinking about this group. The surgery will tomorrow, so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Will do! Hope things go well tomorrow!

I was already at 11-11:30 for my time, they haven't bumped me any later yet. If that's the case I guess I'm first now LOL!

That's my time too! Guess I will try to get their around 10:30 or so! I guess it depends on what time the shuttle is running though!

Why do I read these boards????? After reading this I realized I had to get a swim cover up. Another person mentioned Lands End and I found they have some nice cover-ups on sale for $13.50. I also found code SALEAWAY (pin 4523) that will give free shipping with no minimum purchase until 6/30.

Sorry to tempt others to buy, but If I am going to be broke I need to take some people down with me! :thumbsup2

You will all know me when you see me on the cruise. I will be the one sitting by the pool with no drink, not participating in excursions, and without souvenirs since I will have spent all my money on "cruise necessities". :rotfl2:

Thanks for the code!! We are all enablers!! :)You may be sitting by the pool with no drink.....but you will be looking good with all your no clothes!!! :thumbsup2

I'll sit with you, but I MIGHT have a drink. ;) If it makes you feel any better, I just got back from spending more at Kohl's (15% off total purchase & got Kohl's cash, so now I HAVE to go back again. :lmao:)

Dont mention the "K" word...... I got 30% for my coupon this sale and have resisted going so far.

I'll sit with you, but I am TOTALLY having a drink!!! I am so stressed out these days, drinks will be a must!
You got 30% off? So jealous, I only have 15%.

I did order the first part of my FE gift yesterday! It's the only thing I've planned so far, and I have to find time to make it when it gets here, but it's a start right?

Kohl's can be a dangerous place!! I got that coupon in the mail too! I haven't been there yet to shop!!
I've got part of the stuff to make some of my FE's too, now I just have to hope it turns out good!!

Jen, What time did you end up with? We are 11-11:30 so far. Who knows it could change again by the time we cruise! I don't know why they decided to do this!

So excited!

We have finally decided and booked our pre and post cruise stays. We'll be staying the 3 nights before the cruise in Cocoa Beach and for the night after the cruise, we're renting DVC points and staying at AKL Savannah View. Great deal! Can't believe that DH agreed. :cool1: DS11 doesn't know it but we were able to get ADR at BOMA for that night. That's his favorite WDW restaurant.

Now, to find a rental car at a decent price. Rental cars are so much more expensive than last year.

HI Sherri,

We are staying at kidani village after the cruise too and have a 7.30pm ADr for Boma too on the 21st. :thumbsup2 We have never eaten there before.

How are we going to change our transportation to the port at this late date with the change of the port terminal opening??:scared1::scared1:

I was already at 11-11:30 for my time, they haven't bumped me any later yet. If that's the case I guess I'm first now LOL!

My check in time still says 10:30-11:00 does that mean I can check in before the port opens???? :rotfl: Good thing because I plan on getting there at 6AM! :lmao:

Hi,
I just checked my dcl and it still says 10.30-11 for my check in time . (Does it only show on your signature form of your online check in - or is it displayed somewhere else?)

As it stands I have towncar booked to pick us up at bwv at 9am we will get to the port around 10.

I have not received any communication from DCL about this - I would expect an email to inform me of this. The only reason I know about it is thanks to the wonderful dis.

Therefore I'm not changing anything regards to my plans - even if I have to sit on the pavement outside of the terminal.

I have a printed piece of paper saying my checkin is 10.30 so 10.30 it will be - I've waited long enough for this cruise:rolleyes1

Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers. We have just heard that my mil is coming out of hospital today (only a week after the surgery, and 5 days earlier than expected)

We still have a long road a head of us but I can't thank everyone enough for the support they have shown.

I've even started beginning to think about our holiday again. ;)

Last Sunday Caleb's family were reunited for the first time since all going to their new homes.

We managed to get this great photo!

Dad - Rolo is on the left, mum Gael is on the right

Inbetween are the 6 pups.

Please note Caleb (my horror) is the only one standing up - he is having his teenage tantrums at the moment:rotfl:

Pups are (in order left to right)
Caleb, Paddy, Storm, Merlin, Solo (the only girl) and Raffy!

There is no more 10:30 option, 11:00am is the earliest, at least on my account.

We are still going to be there early its just a matter of how early.

Steve

Our wait list for BLT after the cruise just came through.:banana::banana: Probably telling the kids tomorrow about the cruise but not telling the kids about the world until we get on the bus after the cruise.

We are staying at AKL with a savanna view after the cruise as well...3 nights. I think we are doing Boma for brunch on the 24 :)

Last day of school today.. Kids were done Monday, we just have a staff breakfast this morning...then summer..here I come!

We are hosting a Canada Day party tomorrow and Sarah leaves for a 2 week camp on Sunday...Phil follows the Sunday after for a week..will be quiet for a little while around here:cool1:

What time does boarding actually occur? I'm sorry to hear about the stress of the bumped arrival time for so many.. I want to arrive when the lines are short and just prior to boarding time....

I really just don't understand how they are going to manage crowd control outside of the terminal if they're not allowing people inside until their arrival time. Florida heat/humidity in August is not going to make for happy travelers. I'm afraid it's going to get nasty out there and not a great way to start a Magical vacation...

I don't understand this either. That is why I sent them an email last night, expressing my disappointment.

This is soo crazy since some people's boarding times have changed and some have not. I still say this was handled by DCL very unprofessionally!!

:banana::banana:CONGRATS!!:banana::banana:

Morning Everyone! It is suppose to be a hot one here in MN today so I will probably be doing a morning run and then hanging out in the house most the day. Maybe I can do some more online shopping?! :rotfl2:

I ended up with 11:30!

You go girl! I don't even see the 10:30 option at this point. I am happy for those who got to keep their 10:30 time but I am curious how they decided to move back some people while others kept their time?

You would think DCL would communicate this at some point. :confused3

:cool1: That is great that your MIL is going home! Even though there is a long recovery, she must be doing well to be able to go home! This is good news!

Hey Steve - that is how I see it as well. I don't even see the 10:30 option and 11:00 was grayed out so the earliest slot for me was 11:30.

Our wait list for BLT after the cruise just came through.:banana::banana: Probably telling the kids tomorrow about the cruise but not telling the kids about the world until we get on the bus after the cruise.

:woohoo: That is great news! Good luck keeping the secret! We have got an after cruise secret going on as well and I am so hoping we can keep it that way!

My time was changed to 11-11:30!!! I had 10:30.

I had 10:30 and was changed to 11:30! :scared1:

Glad to hear school is finishing for you all. Now you can relax a bit!

We have no clue about what time boarding will begin. Since they haven't even officially announced the change in time for the port opening, they also haven't announced how this will be impacting boarding. :confused3

CONGRATS, on the last day of school!!

I'm glad everyone seems to be on the mend. Today is a perfectly beautiful day. I'd take this weather all year round!! I have to say I've been hesitant to post this, but I seem to be one of the lucky ones regrading port check in (so far). Please let us know what DCL replies to the emails.

My FEs are continuing. I hope everyone enjoys getting them as much as I am making them. Shopping SHOULD be done, but ya never know what may call out to me. Now to just lose the weight. I lost 4 pounds the 1st week & none the 3rd (extenuating circumstances).

How screwed am I? I made my final payment then realized I forgot insurance.:scared1: I usually hold off on that until just before final payment, but I was too excited and jumped the gun on the payment. Please tell me it will be alright!

Alright - it is time to talk about one of my favorite things....clothing for the cruise! :woohoo:

1. Pirate night: Who is dressing up? Normally we go all out but this year I am thinking about something more casual pirate. Then I think that I will regret it! :confused3 Share your plans for pirate night dress...are you going all out or have you decided to do casual pirate or do you skip dressing up all together?

2. Semi-Formal Night: I have said many times before how sad I am that there is no formal night. I think we will be going semi-formal but leaning towards formal. I want to look for floor length gowns for me and Emily but not big formal ones...again, long with a casual feel to them. I want DS and DH to be in nice clothes with a tie at least. Who has picked out their semi-formal outfits and what are you wearing?

3. Swim Cover-Up: Alright, after a couple of cruises I have finally learned that a swim cover-up is going to be a key piece of clothing. I am looking around but don't see a whole lot. I know I want something other then just a skirt wrap around thing. What do you do about hanging out in your swimwear? If you have a cover up, what does it look like and where did you find it?

Can't wait to hear what everyone is thinking! :goodvibes I love to dream about all the fun clothes I need to get for the cruise! For me, all the different outfits is part of the fun of the cruise!

Short Disney cruises are so informal, that I always feel overdressed compared to other cruise lines. But Pirates night, I like to feel piratey in my costume pirate:. DD14 has grown 6 inches this past year so her pirate outfit is a bit too short. She hate skirts, so I'm going to buy her one of those feminine pirate pants costumes. Buycostumes .com has a 94% off their clearance costumes sale right now.

Always like to wear something elegant on formal or semiformal night. Only time I,m real casual in the evening is on embarkation night or if I have a late shore excursion.

Coverup, I always coverup, I suppose because I'm self conscious. This time I have a pair of beach pants that is the same thin material as those wraps. It matches the mickey 2 piece swim suit that I purchased from the disney store on line years ago when I was slimmer. That means exercising diligently before I make an appearance. Otherwise it's just my wraps and baggy men's swim pants from the World of Disney Store.

It will be alright, I didn't buy insurance either, but I didn't but it on purpose :).
