I checked our port arrival time this afternoon.

Options started at 11am (11-11:30 was greyed out) and we have 11:30am.

I'll just move my port arrival time up to 10:45!

I wonder how many people will be in line @ 10:45!!

This new port arrival time is really going to screw us up. I have a rental car for just one day that we are picking up at 10am the day before when we fly in. If I go over I will get charged with another day. We may be sitting outside on the curb at the port with all our luggage at 10am.

We are going to do this convoluted thing where we all travel to the port in our van, unload and then dh will drive the van back to Country Inn & Suites, park, and take the shuttle back to the port.

I don't want the kids riding in the shuttle van's seat belts w/o booster seats and I don't want to take the booster seats on the ship w/ us so this is the best option.

This later port opening is messing w/ the master plans!

We have the same problem. If we do not return the rental car at the time I had planned on...we will be charged for more. I am annoyed that I might have to pay more because of this. I will be even more annoyed if this means that I will get on the later!

Why do I read these boards????? After reading this I realized I had to get a swim cover up. Another person mentioned Lands End and I found they have some nice cover-ups on sale for $13.50. I also found code SALEAWAY (pin 4523) that will give free shipping with no minimum purchase until 6/30.

You are good! Not only did I buy the packing cubes....today I went to Lands End and bought 3 cover ups (DD and I will share) and 1 swim shirt for her. Every time we go to CC she gets so sun burned and I am hoping the swim shirt will help a bit.

I can always use the cover-ups at our swim club but I don't know if I can justify buying the cubes yet, but we still have 40+ days left until we sail so who knows.

The port is now not opening until 11:00!!

This is going to make everyone who has arranged car rentals, etc. have to change their plans. I am sending DCL an email tonight.. They should not have made this change soo close to the cruise.

I will be sending my e-mail tonight! I think that everyone who has issues with transportation, checking out of hotels, etc....should be sending notes to DCL ASAP so that they realize that this short notice change is creating problems.

I'm just now back from 12 hours of boring meetings at my school ...

ENJOY EVERY MINUTE !!! What a nice thought to bring gifts for the folks back home !!!!

I spent a few hours at the pool this morning before the monsoon rains came along! I actually volunteered to be a judge at some of the competitive events at Tim's conference so that kept me busy this afternoon. Dinner tonight @ Texas de Brazil. I can't believe how much I ate - and.... how stuffed I feel now!

I just sent my e-mail. Again...I am upset that I have to pay more for my rental car. I am even more upset that my arrival time was pushed back and others were not changed. I am now not suppose to arrive at port until 11:30 AM and that is just not what I had been expecting.

I would like to think that they will still allow you to line up. But I wonder if they will even allow us to line up. When we went in Feb. they had a man there checking your name off a list, before you could get dropped off!! The line outside is going to be a looong one.

I say we still need to send emails!!

We were on the list, but I had to call my friend who works on the ship and she had to tell them to let us go ahead that she was waiting for us!!

I really just don't understand how they are going to manage crowd control outside of the terminal if they're not allowing people inside until their arrival time. Florida heat/humidity in August is not going to make for happy travelers. I'm afraid it's going to get nasty out there and not a great way to start a Magical vacation...
