We haven't gotten our docs yet, but 3 of the 4 passports came today. Of course it was hubby's that didn't come and now he's thinking he can stay home. haha.... I'm sure it will be here tomorrow.

Thanks for the Spa Info Randall. I just booked ours for 08-15-05 @ 2:00 pm.
Have you done the Rasul before or heard anything about it?

I was not able to reserve anything for the couples massage. :( The day and times are conflicting with our other scheuled activites :)

I am bringing some music CD of various music for each DIS family. Any special request? Mostly Disney and movie soundtracks. I'll see how many I can make. I believe there are about 16 DIS families.

Oh yeah FYI if anyone is interested in signing up for the Rasul spa, it is now available online. Save a trip up to the spa for the interested couples.

Randall - what is the Rasul? i went online today and looked for it - didn't see anything....haven't booked anything at the spa yet....but one of my fav things is to try different pkgs at different places....

Yeah to those who rec'd their docs and passports!!!! :jumping1: hoping everyone gets theirs no later than next friday!!! It's amazing to think 3 wks from tonite i'll (we all will) be doing final packing and will be so excited won't even be able to sleep!!!!

Brenda, Rasul is a spa treatment, kind of for couples. THere is a thread that explains in more detail what the Rasul treatments is. It sounded kind of interesting. You should read it. But the short version is they lock you and the person you are with in a steam room and provide mud and oils that you get to use on each other. There is a shower to wash off and there is a lock, according to other cruisers, on the inside of the room. They give you one hour and knock on the door with a 10 minute warning. Read the thread for more detailed first hand experience from previous cruisers.

Has anyone else done the Rasul treatment before?

OHHHH - guess i'll skip that since my DH is not going :sad2: - but sounds lovely so all of you :lovestruc "ENJOY"!!! think i'll check further into some solo treatment that i've not had before....

For all of you wanting to do a little shopping in Cabo - (DS & I might after our snorkel cruise), and i believe Arlene & DN is...here are some directions i got from some another thread......

SHOPPING IN CABO
Yes, you can walk to the shopping area. When you get off the tender there will be information tables. They will give you maps of the area, tell you where everything is, etc. Then they will try to get you to listen to a timeshare presentation. Get the maps from them and firmly tell them thank you and leave. The maps were helpful, though.

If you want to avoid that, just walk clockwise from the tender dock around the pier and you will come to a street or wide alley that will take you to the shopping area, about a block away. You can't really miss it--it's right past the open air restaurants.

congrats on the docs....
you can get the navigators at www.allearsnet.com - there's a link from the home page on right side - they are there for each day - approx 4 pages each....but those are the inaugural cruise from 5/28 - i hear they have changed some. You might also seach some other WC cruises to see if anyone has posted theirs.

Susy, The navigators on the allearsnet are more or less correct. The main difference is that twiced charmed is now scheduled for Mazatlan evening (Wed). Also departure time for Mazatlan is 4:30 or so and not 7:30 as it says on the all ears net site.

We should actually start our unofficial DIS meeting at the Mickey pool at 1:00 pm for those going for a swim. I hear this is the best time to enjoy the pool.

This is for those folks that can't help but plan each and every moment of their vacation. I know we should be go with the flow, but for me planning is part of the fun.

I read that you can request tickets to the Tea with Wendy between 1:00pm and 12 am for the TWO session at Guest services on Deck 3 midship.

Also you can request bridge tour tickets at Guest services. I am not sure if they have this available on the first day or if you need to wait until Sunday to get them. However if you are interested you might ask at the same time as booking Tea with Wendy.

Only three more weeks to go!
:goodvibes

We got our documents :cool1:  :dancer: :cheer2:
They were waiting for us when we got home from the pool this evening. 3 more weeks to go.

Doc - thanks for the info! I am a planner too and wouldnt have as much fun without it, I just feel like I'm starting so late! It's only 3 weeks away

starwood - congrats on getting your docs!

I agree about the 1pm pool meet

which days is the tea with wendy?

Susy

Hey everyone! So excited that the cruise is just a few weeks away! But I just wanted to let you all know that it's more than likely that we won't make it to the DIS meet! My mom (Joanne) has to explore every inch of the ship when she first gets on, no matter how many times we go on the boat. And with the addition of my best friend coming now too (Melissa, which is ironic, cuz that's my name too!) she's going to want to explore the ship too.

Sorry we'll be missing out on the festivities, but I just wanted to give you the heads up! ENJOY YOUR CRUISE EVERYONE!!!!

~Melissa

I've been scrolling thru this whole long thread, but it's hard to find, when are the other DIS meets?

Thanks!

Susy

Thank You Nancy - yes i do!! I read your docs came - YEAH for that!!

Brenda I also would like to send my condolences. I know it is hard to lose a parent. I am sure the cruise will be a nice time to just relax and enjoy without having to cook, clean or make your bed.

Don't think any other meetings have been planned. Maybe someone might want to pick a second day and time to meet on Sunday.

I also like to explore the ship. However I would rather swim in the pool with not as many people and wander around after eating dinner to see the ship. This way you eat first then do all your walking. I also sometime like to get up really early in the morning and walk around the ship when it is still docking in port. On our last Carnival cruise this was one of the most peacful times to explore the hallways.
