Hi All,

I sent a request on fb today! Have been away for a while also! Are we delivering all the FE on the first night or are we taking turns so that each morning we wake up and check our bags? Did I see a time to meet on the dream? Sorry I am so out of the loop, has been crazy. Just starting my FE gifts and printed out the list. Getting so excited!!

Glad to hear the birthday celebrations went well!!! My mouth would start drooling with those awesome options!

My ME tags finally came in for OKW and BLT. It's getting real now!!

For those of you who are staying at WDW prior to the cruise, what are your plans? Tues we'll just be hanging out at OKW by the pool. Wednesday we'll be switching to BLT and enjoying Epcot (aka around the world) for my birthday. Thursday will be a waterpark day (since we all seem to have those left on our old passes) followed by Wishes from the TOWL.

I'd be happy to start a group on FB if anyone wants me to. I'd just need to have everyones names sent to me. It only takes a minute to set up!

We're staying at BLT in the run up to the cruise. We will be in Epcot on the Wednesday evening as we have reservations for Teppan Edo - this will be a first for us. I also hope to drink my way around the world! Lol!
We're off to Vero Beach after the cruise and then back up to AKL and Universal.

Gary - what a fab surprise for Janet's birthday - Jason take note!

Lani - wow a cruise booked for next year already - sounds amazing.

My favourite Disney ride has to be Tower of Terror.
Jason likes Rockin Roller Coaster best and Luke's favourite is Everest.

I will have one bag per person to hand out. If someone wants to designate a day for me, that's fine. I've forgotten who is even in charge of the exchange. Everyone's names are getting jumbled and I am confused.. I can't remember who is from Ohio, who lives near my house, and who is bringing their mothers with them. Agh. I need a drink. I should make up a t shirt that says Disney dreamer on it and wear it wed. in epcot. That way anyone of you guys who are there can high five me. Although it sounds like you all might be swaying like jack sparrowLol whoever is going to the Sheraton on Nassau day, I'll see you there. Like I said, everybody's names have just run together I think I need to start using everyone's 1st names instead of their user name. By the way, I am Rae. (. From liberty two, Ohio) if anyone else is confused.

FE Delivery - I think anytime the first night until the afternoon on sea day will work that way everyone has a chance to unpack and pack their FE goodies. We can do assigned days if you want, but on my last cruise, we all just delivered whenever since you don't know what kind of activities you will be doing until you are there. What do you all think??

I vote for no assigned days....... just do it when you can. Besides I have a gift for the younger people that they may want to use that 1st day / night. But we may do adults another night.

All this talk about going to the parks is making me homesick!!! I can't believe that we are not going in!!! Who's idea was that???? It will be ok...it will be ok...

Since we are going to Sea World this year, and I think Universal next....we may not make it back to Disney for 3 YEARS.... that will be the longest we have gone since we started going every year!!! How will I manage? (Ok, I sound like a brat, but I love Disney ... you guys do understand, right????)

I actually started going through the thread today to write down usernames and then everyone's names (and kids ages).... I will try to have a list together for us tomorrow or the next day... I am having a hard time keeping everyone straight and I also wanted to see the ages of the kids we all had - I think we have a nice mix for everyone to hang out!!!

Hi Lani: DVC has made it possible for our family the ability to afford to go to Disneyworld every year for the last 18 years......wow!

Every year somone (usually a brother, sister in law or other family member) asks the question "are you going to Disneyworld again?" like its a disease or something! Then I say something smart like....."don't you go to the shore every year......it probably costs you more to do that then it costs us to go to Disneyworld"

With my oldest DD Jenn being 21 and my midddle DD Stacey will be graduating high school next year.....I know this could possibly be our last vacation in Disney that we are all together.....so this is going to be a vacation to remember for me and all my family !!

I hardly remember asking for this thread to be started. I do remember thinking that we would never get here.....can't believe we are less than a month till our Dream vacation.

It is hard to put real names and places to dis names.....thanks for compiling this list.

We will be at Disney from 7/30 till 8/7 staying at Animal Kingdom Kidani. Then we board the Dream for the 5 night double dip before this cruise! If anyone will be around Disney before the cruise at the same time, maybe we could get together!

We are so excited that we have less than 30 days till we board the Dream! Can't wait to meet all of you guys! I know I haven't been very active in this thread, but a 1 year old keeps me super busy!

Today we had a fast moving bad storm come through the area that knocked down a tree, and caused the power lines to come down. We are still waiting for power restoration. They have said it could be days. Took the kids and went to my moms house for the night where they have power and air conditioning.

Well morning is going to be here way too fast, night all!

Tina - We had the same storm blow through our area too. Parts of Pittsburgh were hit quite hard. Fortunately we were spared. Hope you get your power back soon. How did you do Cara?

28 days until we leave! We have been going to WDW or DCL every year since 1999. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have a trip scheduled. And planning is half the fun.

I agree that we should not have assigned days for the FE. We tried that last trip and things got turned around. People got involved in activities and switched their days. It all worked out though and everyone enjoyed it.

Is anyone planning on booking their next cruise while onboard?

I am going to look into the prices onboard. I am not sure what kind of discounts they might offer?

I have no idea how much the cruise costs, I have always used DVC points, but we are taking friends next year to OKW and we will be depleting our points for 2012 & 2013. So I would like to possibly book a 2013 cruise while on this cruise.
