Gary - What about a Disney Dooney and Bourke handbag or an IOU for one of the 2011 Dream ones which you can buy on board? That would be my choice - strong hint to my DH Jason for our wedding anniversary!

We've just booked to see the new Harry Potter film which opens here next week! Can't wait! We're hoping to visit the Harry Potter section of Universal towards the end of our holiday. Has anyone been?

Need to start thinking about organising packing this weekend - less than 3 weeks until we go! Can't wait!!!!

We are HUGE Harry Potter fans and can't wait to see the last movie! We are going this weekend to see it for sure....and probably should book the tix!

We are planning on going to Universal for the first time next August (2012) for a few days...

Gary, I really like the idea of the DB bag. I'm not sure how Janet feels about bags, but if she is not a bag fan, maybe you can book an excursion special for her while on Castaway. Maybe parasailing? Might seem crazy, but if she's more of an adventure lady, she might like that. Please wish her a BIG Happy Birthday from all of her Disney Dreamers!

OK I have a question for anyone that might be willing to share.... Being newbies... What are some things that you all do to prevent sea sickness? A friend of mine said to get the sticky things for behind your ears and just put them on before the cruise and use them the whole time. Have you tried these? Do they work? If not, what else could we do?

Oh yeah.. I am so jealous of those that get to visit Harry Potter. Maybe nexy year for us.. You'll have to let us all know afterwards how much of a blast it was!

There is also a handbag they will sell on the boat. The name is Parazul. If you go to Parazul.com you will see they are having a "bundle" sale. I LOVE these bags and want to buy one every time I cruise. Perfect for summer. If you don't mind spending the $, the bundle is the best deal!

Really pleased that everything is okay. I had a health scare back in January.
It wasn't a great time thinking that I might not be able to get my Disney fix and worrying that I had something life threatening.
You must be sooo relieved.

We're really looking forward to meeting everyone too.

My kids are coming home today I'm sooooooo excited. And only 30 days until I'm walking through MGM. Or Hollywood Studios, whatever you call it. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Glad your kids are coming home today. Its good to see them go, but its great to have them back home!

Actually I haven't given Janet her presents yet. Robin's birthday my youngest DD(16) is today. Robin was in a play Thursday, Friday & two shows on Saturday......so Janet opted to celebrate a combined less hectic birthday celebration today.

Along with other things, I printed a gift certificate for Janet's choice of gifts while on the Dream Cruise. I am offering her a Dooney & Boorke special cruise bag, or a Spa Treatment of her choice, or a Excursion on Castaway Cay....... above and beyond what we already have planned. These were all great ideas given by my Disney Dreamer friends. I could not deceide which one......but thanks to everyone for these great ideas.

Janet was working at both services today at our church.....I just attended the first service.......so I expect the festivities to start very soon.

If you are that tech savvy with fb, then go for it. Yes, Janet will love having a choice. I would want all three, though. I don't think we will schedule any excursions for castaway. I think Trevor and Melina are going to be on that Pelican Plunge all day! I might check online today about going to use the beach at the Sheraton in Nassau. Sounds A LOT cheaper than going to Atlantis. I've forked out enough $ so far. For what I paid for 3 days @ Disney beforehand, I might as well have booked a back to back cruise. Let me know if any of you are also going to the Sheraton or have already been. It sounds like the boat might be crowded that day with so many people NOT getting off. Rae

Janet was very excited with the choice of these three gifts.....she sort of laughed at the suggestion of para-sailing. When she mentioned the spa treatment.....Robin chimed in asking if this was a "group present". I copied and pasted pictures from the cruise selections (I guess from last year) and that seemed to peak Janet's interest as well.......so I am guessing the final choice will be made once we are on the Dream.

I was just looking at facebook, it appears to be easy to open a "create a group". Will we all need to send you our facebook names so you can send us invites? I am pretty simple, being a guy I just use my name Gary Pinkos.

I was just on ebay looking at buying used dvd's of the HP movies. I've only seen a couple in the series. Then I had a brainstorm and texted a friend who texted back that she has 1-7 and she will loan them to me. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I think I may do the wine pairing at Remy with the money I will save.

She is one lucky lady! I think it's really special of you to do think of that. My DH isn't too much in the way of gift giving, so that's why I booked Remy myself, as a gift for my bday (which will be about a week after our cruise). I think I would faint if he thought to do something like you are doing!

I was just reading another post (again) about the changing of port arrival times. Someone said their time was changed for August cruise, but I don't know when in Augusst that they cruise.

Online, mine still lists 10:30. Does anyone know if they will change it online to later and if so, will they notify us or do we just need to keep looking online? Has anyone's time been changed?

Lori, I know I'm responding to an old post. I just decided to go through all 23 pages and read them all. I just read that you are from Dayton. We are from Liberty Twp., Lakota school district. And we will be staying at Port Orlrans Riverside 3 days prior to our sail. We usually stay at French quarter, but we are bringing my mom and Riverside accommodates 5 people. We should get together some night in Disney. Rae

Ok small world!! I was also going back and reading old posts and found this. We also live in Liberty Twp! We are not at POFQ before, just one night at Pop and then the week after at WL. So funny!
