Me, too! And, my 7 year old talks about the Dream ALL the time! She is so excited! (I can't wait to surprise her in about a MONTH with our quick 3 night Dream cruise!!!)

Hi everybody...
We have less than a year til our cruise and my girls are asking me about meeting some friends before we board. Anyone interested in pen pals for the kids or maybe Facebook for the older ones? My younger DD will be 10 on the cruise, and my my older DD will be 16.

Maybe this thread will become more active after the holidays....'cause it sure has been quiet. So far on this thread we have a few girls around 16, but no other boys that age besides my GS and my other teen GS will be 14.

What is FE? Guess I'll have to find a thread to tell me more. I have much research to do since we've never cruised with Disney even though we cruise a lot.

Just saw Breaking Dawn last night and they had a commercial for the Dream! Much as I hate commercials at the theater, I liked this one.

I just got my "welcome to your cruise" mailing from Disney in the mail today. My travel agent also sent me a copy of the daily schedule from a June 2011 day at sea on the Dream so I could see what types of activities they have on board. I'm getting excited now!

I'm definitely with you. I haven't even had time to follow our discussion boards recently. Sorry, I've been so out of touch... But, I am ready to start making some plans!! We are thinking about spending a few days at the parks before the trip, so I have been thinking about that as well. Can't wait!

We decided to do a few days in the parks before the cruise as well. I have been spending the past few days deciding on where to stay. We have never stayed on-site before, so we are thinking about doing that this time, but we are not yet sure. Decisions decisions!

Yes, we have been looking at hotels also, trying to decide if it makes sense to stay in a park hotel. Believe it or not, my kids have never been to any amusement parks in Florida (Disney or otherwise). So, it will be a new experience. They HAVE been to Disneyland in CA, but it's been a while.

Marcy, our DDs might enjoy meeting at one of the parks one day if that works out. It could be a pre-cruise meeting! My DD has been enjoying their e-conversations.

Yes, they might enjoy that. We'll probably be there for at least 3 days pre-cruise. I'm researching hotel options as we speak!
