Is the beginning of August a good time to go, or would it be better to go the last week in May? I am not concerned with the weather, because I live in Louisiana so I am used to the heat. I have been during those times, & I was wondering about crowd levels.

It is busy but I don’t think its terrible. We have gone the first week in Aug. the last 4 years and its not been that bad. I think you need to plan a bit more with your fast passes and be to the park at opening not 1 or 2 hrs later. Stuff is also not normally closed this time of year either so that’s a plus. This year we are going that time as well.
