I just went back to school for Graduate school, and it's a year program so I'll be done by July 2011. I want to apply for the college program for the Fall 2011 session, since when I apply in February/March I'll still technically be enrolled in college. I had been accepted in my undergraduate school for the college program, but had to decline because my school was not going to accept lifeguarding as a proper internship for someone studying communications. I will be doing it not for credit if I get accepted for next year.
I am thinking about audition for a performer position this time. I don't have extensive training in dance, but I've been active in community theater and school plays for the past ten years and really enjoy it with a passion. Has anyone auditioned for Disney before? Any tips or advice would be very appreciated. I've watched the video on the website, but what else is there to know?
For some physical background information, I'm 24, but look a lot younger. I'm only 5' feet tall and about 130lbs (trying to lose weight). I have brown hair and brown eyes. I doubt that I'll match any character look a-like, but that would be amazing if I could get a role like that (again, doubtful.) Just kinda aiming for a parade or show performer.
