Has anyone here ever downloaded audio books off of the internet? I saw a thread earlier (it could have been on the cruise board) about a company who allows you to legally download books on tape for a fee. My whole family love listening to books but with all the different comapanies out there I'm always wondering if I made the right choice.

So, anyone ever done this? What site did you use? Were you happy?

Thanks!:p

I'm not much help - I've never downloaded them. However, if you buy them from Cracker Barrel, you can return them within a certain time period and get a refund. We do that and pick them up from the library.

Thanks katerkat. We have a rental place nearby. My kids like to listen to them repeatedly! (anyone want to know how any of the Junie B Jone's book go just let me know - I can reciete them from heart!) They are very costly to buy. (HP5 was $80) but they love them so much. It's a lot better then TV for them.

We did luck out and get "Ella Enchanted" at a secondhand store for just a few bucks. (BTW the book is REALLY different from teh movie! Girls and boys would love the book) They don't appear at the secondhand stores often though.

Anyone else have any suggestions?
