Attention all MNSSHPers

I did call and leave my number...... I'd also left all my info, including number at the end of my email to them. We'll see what happens and I will of course let you all know. :badpc:

Umm..so are you going to call to help them to 'research it' :confused3 I would, I think that they don't think you'll call. I would call, I would give him the chance to explain what the heck is going on and voice the displeasure of MANY!
Let us know!
Hey, you got more of a response than we did!! :badpc:

I still have not gotten a reply to my email. It has been 2 days. Let's hope they are being bombarded with emails, complaints, and calls on this and they just haven't updated the calendars yet.

Do you all think we need to keep emailing?

Somewhat off topic a bit on this subject, but in regards to the wristbands. What happens if someone 'pulls theirs off'. I am asking this because my 3 year old (who we bought a ticket for), sometimes has a tendency to play and pull at those things until they are off. Does that mean he wont get to see characters because he wont wear it??? I guess I could safety pin it to the back of his costume or soemthing if he does it.

Don't worry...the rest of you will have your wristbands on...besides you still have his ticket with you...it is not going to be a problem

last year our kids wrist bands couldn't be seen b/c of their costumes...however my wife and I had short sleeve t-shirts on and our bands were clearly visible (we weren't asked once to show the kids bracelets)

I think if you don't wear a costume you may be asked to show, however if someone is in costume it's pretty much a guarantee that they've paid admission to the party (no day guests are dressed up....although some look like it after being in the park all day!! lol.... pirate:

Assuming the wristbands are the same as for EMH...I couldn't get mine off at all and finally had to cut it! Luckily I had packed scissors. :sad2: So I'm betting he won't be able to get it off. It can be a challenge for him. :thumbsup2

Hmmm hope we don't end up on the 'bad Disney guest' list...just kidding!!

I sent an email today.(just found this thread). I'm also really interested in what time we can enter the park. Someone upthread said five, I was really hoping for four again!

I noticed that Epcot has PM EMH the evening of our MNSSHP. (Sept 29th) Maybe that will be a pull for some. Only time will tell... :hourglass

I sent two emails and mailed a snail mail letter. I'm going to MVMCP, but I think the problem is the same for both parties.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have read rumors on a discussion forum that Disney has reversed its decision to close the Magic Kingdom to day guests at 7pm and has indeed reverted to the original 6pm closing time. I think this is an excellent decision but there seems to be no solid confirmation of this including the park hours calendar on the official WDW site. If you can confirm the change, I will purchase my tickets immediately. Thank you!

How long does it usually take to get a response? I sent my letter on Monday and till have not even received an automated response saying "yes, we received it".

I am searching for our halloween costumes this week and am still so excited about this event but I really think Disney should clear up all this miscommunication. I am actually more confused now as to what is going on than I was when I wrote my letter.

I will send the same e-mail as I did not purchase our 10 tickets yet.

Don't forget people that Epcot is having the first night of the WINE festival (Sept.29) and that will be a big draw, not to mention thier are OTHER parks and it is September so I think it will not be TOO BAD. I am just going to go and enjoy the MAGIC!

MNSSHP ticket holder for Sept.29th!

I really hope they change back to the 6PM clear-out time. Otherwise, no tickets for me.

Still NO respsonse from my e mail !??? :confused3 Im a bit miffed by that !

I haven't recieved a response to my email, but I have made a total of 5 calls and recieved the same answer...the park will close at 6 to non ticket holders....

Well, I got a response. :(

It was in a phone message. I was out all day.

She said she was Michelle from the "Executive Offices of Disney". That she was sorry I was upset by what I had heard.

She said that they have decided to handle MNSSHP/MVMCP like EMH. That they learned from past experience that it is no longer necessary to close the park to clear it of day guests.

They will keep the park open. There will be greeters at all locations (trick or treat, rides, food place) to turn away those guests without wristbands, and move them to the front of park and out by 7:00p.

She said all offerings will require wristbands and no party festivities will happen on Main Street till all day guests are gone.

She said it will basically work like EMH.

Finally, she said my comments and concerns are very much appreciated and that they will be shared with the office/executives.

I'm a little disappointed to say the least but I'll hope for the best. This year could be my last party. :(

This is a little upsetting to me :guilty: I think I will wait to hear back from those that attend on the 15th before I buy my tickets. I really do not see how this can be considered a hard ticket event when the park does not even close. I am just not sure what I want to do now :confused3
