Attendance difference between Aug. and Sept.

We currently have reservations to go to Disney World Sept. 10-16, but I don't know if I can wait that long I am about to die to go. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there will be much difference with attendance and weather if we were to go Aug. 21-27 instead of Sept. 10-16?

There will be a pretty significant difference. WDW stays pretty crowded up through Labor Day. The few weeks after Labor Day it is a ghost town. I am going the week of the 10th as well and cannot wait. The first year I went at that time I took in just about every attraction in the MK (save the ones in Toontown) by 2 pm on a Friday. It's really awesome.

The difference in a word....*HUGE*. Really, really huge. Night and day...that's another way to look at it. The hours are most definitely shorter in September, but there's a reason for that....you can finish a park in literally 1/2 the time that it will take you to tour it in August. And if you're staying on-site, you can enjoy the parks at night with EMH. EMH in August will be a nightmare.

We live in Orlando and can't even wait for the day after Labor Day. Last year we both took the day off and went to MK, MGM and Epcot....hit all of our favorites, had dinner and watched Illuminations....it's awesome!
