I have planter fasciitis. I do pretty well with my orthotics.
I was thinking about going to the Atlantis waterpark on my upcoming cruise. Then I thought...I cant go barefoot!!!!

Are there super supportive water shoes/sandles somewhere? Or should I just scrap the idea altogether?

I don't know of any supportive water shoes, but I thought of a couple options that might work.

One would be to buy sandals that had good support that are made for the water. Another one would be to buy regular water shoes, but maybe a size larger than needed and get a pair of over the counter inserts to wear inside of the water shoes. I don't know if it would work, but it is a thought.

I wear Crocs. My podiatrist has said that they are fine to wear (just not for tons of walking) . I wear them around the house as my "slippers" and to the pool and water parks.

You might also try out Fit Flops. I am having very good luck with them.

My daughter has to wear orthotics and she wears Keen newports h2 to the water parks. She hasn't had any issues with foot pain using these.

I believe any of the "trek" type sandals made by merrel,Keen, ect. will work well for you. I don't have foot problems but I still use them for the support on water rides. They are great for walking in and are an all in one good sandel.
