for some reason the security guards don't ask to see keys anymoe - just driver license????

so been able to go to most of the resorts and park - there - you don't want to ask how much money spend..... can resist their gift shops - even when know it would cost much less to wait and go to the outlet malls.

will be back in b'ham this sun.

I don't recall ever being asked to show a key, so long as I had the parking pass in the window. I also have at times not being staying on property, gone to resorts and only shown license.

Looks like you've got the right ideas on the gift shops! :)

I do remember that at OKW (the only resort where we've had a rental car), we've always shown driver's liscence, not key. In addition we have the parking pass om the dash. For us, it's been that way for 9 years.

On our last visit, we had to show room key for every resort we went to even with our resort permit in display.

Have a great visit, Pat!

Last Year at BWV there was Security on the lot checking ID but we chalked that 1 up to the 4th of July fireworks. We took the poor fella a Cold Coke was Miserable out there. He tried to refuse but we insisted poor fella was soaked from sweat....Shawnpirate:

I think it depends on the resort. At the Epcot resorts they watch it carefully to avoid becoming Epcot parking. I think it is similar at the MK resorts.

Have a fantastic trip and happy shopping!!! :rotfl:

Yes, we just got back a couple weeks ago and we had to do this too. I think the guard at AKV said it's something fairly new, and he explained the reason but I've forgotten what it is!:rolleyes1
