At bay lake tower now

Great thread! If you have time (and the inclination), can you post a couple pictures of the wear you experienced on the room?

As for fireworks, based on your picture of the pool, you should be able to see the fireworks at EPCOT from your room (on the horizon). Also, you should be able to easily see the water pagent around 10PM.

I look forward to more; thanks for posting!

So after our pool and relaxing, we got dressed for MNSSHP. We walked over, got our tickets and went in. WOW, theming of the event is great on Main St. Very well done. We headed over and got our event pins. Long line, but we got them. Then, we went and got spots for the parade. We waited for about a half hour, and NOTE TO PARENTS. If you truly want your child to see everything, GET THERE EARLY. Please, do not expect to show up right at the time it starts, and expect all of us to move, and push back so you can push your stroller in front so your sleeping child can watch. I realize its about the kids, but, to me, its rude. When we brought our kids, we waited at a spot for quite a long time so they could see. We ran into some very rude people expecting everyone to move for their kids. BUT, anyways, parade was great! We then walked around and basically watched all the kids trick or treating. We stood back and let them enjoy. Then, we saw the Villians show, and watched Hallowishes from the front of the castle. They were great. Then we walked back and went to the TOTW lounge. There was about 6 people in there only. One thing I can say, and this was from watching another guest, people do not like waiting 10 minutes for someone to come move the elevator upstairs. We watched a couple guys, and a family get very upset because the guide person walked them to the doors, then said wait, and no one came for about 10 minutes. It was a nice view up there. Then, upon returning to the room, I was surprised by this:

Jess ordered this for me for my birthday, and Mickey is HUGE!!

Also saw the water pageant parade go by. That was cool

And to quickly reply. We will try that with the shower head, as Jess was almost laser sliced by the water :)

And the wear/tear damage is on the counter that the TV is on. The corners are all scratched up, and large chips of black are gouged out. It appears someone was either too rough with items, or slammed chairs or the table into the corners. There are a couple other spots on the black, and it really shows because of the color. Everything else seems fine, the bathroom door seems to be not adjusted quite right, but, I read that the doors are going to be changed.

It was a great first day at the world. Tommorow is Epcot day, and FISHERMANS PIE at Food and Wine! Oh, and my birthday as well!!

Here was us for the party:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :goodvibes That Mickey is AWESOME!! What could be better then a birthday at Disney.
It sounds as if you are having such a great time!! Thanks for sharing. We are coming home to BLT in 8 days (I love to say single days). Hope your day today is the best yet!:cool1:

So we arrived last night around 1am, from our flight. Flight was good, Magical Express was great. We got to our Studio Room at BLT, overlooking the lake and the courtyard. VERY awesome view for a non park view. Our opinion of the room was, eh, its ok. Its smaller than a studio at SSR for sure. We are still deciding on the theme design, but its very nice. Our room shows a LOT of wear and tear on the furniture. We are on the 7th floor. We just ordered in for breakfast, but, I can say, our view waking up was pretty awesome:

Ok breakfast just arrived...Then off to DTD..More to follow

Hey Neighbors, we got here (BLT) on Wednesday the 20th, and are on the 9th floor, same view, we love it!!
heading to DCL on Saturday!

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

We're over at SSR this weekend - so we'll be "following" you :) Love the pictures - and love that Mickey. I like the halloween shirt, too, with the hat. Great idea - one of my kids already has the hat - maybe I should get him the shirt to go with it!

I will be at BLT tomorrow! Maybe we will run into us - we will be hard to miss because we are a party of 7. Have a great trip!

No pics yet, no time to upload. The morning started at Chef Mickeys for my birthday breakfast. We had a BALL!! In fact, we sat in the same seats we did the FIRST TIME WE WENT TOGETHER! Though that was so cool! Minnie brought me a birthday cupcake. From there, off to Epcot. Got all of my food and wine pins. Did Soarin, Captain EO, Test Track for rides. Then we sampled foods. Had Cheddar Cheese Soup, Fishermans Pie YUM, Pita with Beef from Morrocco, Carmael and Chocolate Strawberry in Germany, and then Peirogi and Golobka from Poland! AWESOME food, and great prices. Then it was back for another swim, and now off to find somewhere for Dinner. I Promise pics asap, and thanks for all the Bday wishes and responses! I truly enjoy trip reports and bringing magic to you at home.

Seriously, bring your own!! I felt like I was being stung by a million little bees!!! NO adjustments on it, and it comes out sharp!! We are getting ready and off to DTD.

The little lever on the bottom that you use to turn it on can then be pushed back a little bit and it lowers the pressure quite a bit.

We were there in the summer and it really helped as I had read how hard it was.

Great TR! Can't wait - we'll be there Wednesday. I know so few people go, but I'm really looking forward to TOTW. Love the flatbreads!

Ok, we are back in our room, ready to get a great night sleep for our assault on the parks tommorow. Rope drop at the studios, followed by a ride on everest, following up on some more swimming then MK until the wee hours of the morning! One thing I forgot to mention today, is a SMALL WORLD story. We were in line getting pins at Epcot, when the lady asked the people in front of us, where they were from. They said Mass, we said, oh, us too, where, and they were from the SAME city, only 3 miles from where we live!!! WOW. That was mind blowing. OK, so after our swim today, we tried to decide where to dine. We felt like steak. We checked out the Wave, nothing sounded appetizing. SO, we went to the MK bus stops, and took the SSR bus to one of our favorite places to eat, Turf Club. No reservation, they got us right in. We have the Prime Rib, with a Red Wine glaze, Yukaton Mashed Red Potatoes and our favorite, the sauteed green beans. DELICOUS. And, the surprised us with a Birthday Cupcake, and signed card from the staff. We absolutely love SSR. It so much feels like home, compared to BLT. After that, it was a nice boat ride down to DTD, and some more shopping. SINCE the caramel halloween apples will last over a week we were told, we got some for our return to reality on Sunday. ***TIP***If you are an AP holder, you should get $3 off the special halloween apples. THE STAFF DOES NOT KNOW THIS, you have to ask, or you only get the 10% deal. Did a little more shopping at World of Disney, too. Did I mention DTD was MOBBED! But it was a great night to be out, with what looked like a NICE full moon. Busses coming back were not too bad, BUT, for the amount of money people pay to stay at Contemporary, and DVC members pay in dues, there should be MORE busses there, then Pop or All Stars. For every 3 value resort busses, 1 contemporary came. Here are a couple pics from today, the 1st is my new mickey checking out the balcony view:

we did that. now we are free from BLT shower/laser surgery :cool1:

Woke up call at 6am, Stitch was yelling at us :) Its a room service breakfast day, which, btw, is pretty good here at BLT. Then, its off to the Studios for Rope Drop, some playing with Buzz and Woody, taking a ride in an elevator at Disney's newest DVC, Hollywood Hotel, and enjoying the studios. Then probably some more sun and swim..When you are from the Northeast, swimming in October, and having a REAL tan is pretty awesome! Tonight, its Tony's for dinner, then MK and FINALLY, the Main St Electrical Parade!

Ill have more later! Hope everyone is enjoying the TR!
