Technical question, WMK!

Some bulletin boards seem to be inundated with spam postings, often "adult" themed in nature. Obviously having moderators to quickly delete this type of post is helpful. Do the disboards use any other type of spam-preventing software to prevent spam posts? Or is it the collective effort of the mods that keep these boards in good taste and humming along?

It probably does it is just your computer. The small letters only show up tiny on my laptop. On my regular computer they look normal to me. I am also still trying to figure out why someone's siggy picture is HUGE and way over the siggy limits on my main computer but fine on my other one. It is very strange

What do you have checked in your "User Options" area of User CP?

This is what I'm looking for:
You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in code)


Anything checked there?

The font sizes don't appear any different on my computer either. It's all appears to be just the default size. I wondered why I used to be able to post the teeny tiny font but can't anymore. So I still can post it, but I just can't see it ?? I think the bigger sizes work for me. I'm going to do a little test now. . . .

Does this sentence look tiny to anyone? I am typing it in size 1.

Does this sentence make me look fat??

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Just depends on how it was added. We don't have a webmaster graphic... maybe we need one of those, too.

they look small and BIG to me!

I've discovered that on different computers the join date, location and post count area is in different colors! Why is that?

Sometimes the Tag Fairy colors those, too!

I opened the .sig post-it on the Community Board to find other moderators' posts.

That is what happens to me on my main computer. All the bigger sizes work fine, just not size 1. Very strange. It works on DH's computer and my laptop.
