Hi Tiff here. I made alot of UNINTENTIONAL typo's yesterday. I make them all the time, but yesterday was the worst of all. In the recent past anyway.

Which do you prefer: DCL, WDW, DL, DLP, or other? Why?
Do you stay on-site when you visit the parks?
What do you think of the new Dining Plan?

My answers, to make it fair:
DCL. I hate all the walking in the parks.

I'm a cruise junkie!! I adore DCL, as well as several other cruise lines. I love being on the water, and being pampered by the wonderfully attentive cruise staff, and the never ending entertainment choices. I've never been to DL, DLP, or any Disney parks other than WDW. DH has been to Hong Kong Disney.

But, all in all, I think that WDW is my favorite destination to run away, chill out, and just soak in the magic. The walking can be tiring, but I'm usually having so much fun that I don't notice how exhausted I am until I fall into bed each nigh.

I prefer to stay on-site, but after visiting Universal, I'm wondering why I pay so much. And guests are Crrrrrazeeeee at AKL. Too many screaming people for me to return.

I do stay on-site. I have stayed off-site before, and I found that I just didn't feel immersed in the magic and found dealing with parking and driving a pain. Off-site, I felt like a visitor. On-site, I feel like a guest.

My favorite resorts are the Polynesian so I can drink in the fireworks from the beach and be just a quick monorail or boat from the MK on family trips, or the Swan or Yacht Club so I be in the middle of the Epcot/Boardwalk fun for holiday or adult trips with friends. (You didn't ask, but I thought I'd share anyway. )

Meh. I'd have to consult my spreadsheet to figure out how well it would work for my family. We do a lot of buffets anyway.

The dining plan's not a draw for me personally. I'm more of a "go with the flow" traveler. And I don't like how packed all the restaurants are due to the dining plan. But I know that a lot of people love it...

WMAlex does like to pretend he's the principal and dish out punishments. I draw the line at wearing the schoolgirl uniform, though.

No, but my salary doubles every year.
