asda have sold out of mince pies !!!!!

dh and myself have been tasting the mince pies ( 3 boxes over the last couple of weeks ) to see what to get for the christmas day lunch and when i went to buy some today they had sold out !!!!!
they were lovely as well from the asda exta special range mmmmm

perhaps we coild do a swap,plenty of mince pies in crawley but not a single chisrmas cake or yule log left. thats the trouble with living by the airport, eastyjet to prague and all places east works both ways and apparently they love our festival cakes!!

With the big christmas hype, that's not surprising. I mean, everyone wants a mince pie as it's standard for christmas time. So stores can put up the price a little as there is such a high demand anyway. Not only does that mean bigger profit for the stores, it also means a bigger profit for the people who make them!

You could always buy a pumpkin! I mean, who wants one of them now!

Those Asda mince pies were chosen as the best in the Good Housekeeping magazine - and yes they were good! Must have caused a run on them

I have never ever tried a mince pie How sad is that I cant bring myself to try one because of the fact they are called mince pies, I have this mental image that they are going to taste like mince .
