Thanks for the warm welcomes. I had a funny story that you guys would appreciate more than anyone. When I called to add a night to our CSR reservation a couple weeks ago, I asked the CM if they keep track of all the changes that are made and he said yes. I said oh I'm sorry and he said don't worry some people make a lot more changes than you. So we finished up and I said thank you and I think I am all set now, no more changes. The CM laughed and said, "Ma'am, you still have 7 months left."

I probably shouldn't be laughing, but I do the same thing when I'm here alone for a week....we live in a subdivision...no bears or anything else!

LOL!!!! Christine, too funny! I can just see you out there banging the pot with the spoon to chase away the bears!! Just like in the movie Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan, acting as twins.....when they go camping and tell the mean step-mother-to-be to bang the pots to keep unwanted visitors away!! ..... Do keep safe with your little fur baby though, don't want to have anyone be Mr. Bears next meal!!!

I can beat that...my baby girl is 40!!! (does it count that she is the oldest?

Ok....You win funny how kids just grow up on us to darn quick, heh!

Thank you so much Christine!!!! My baby is a full grown man now! I just wish he'd find something to do that will make him happy now....He's not academically inclined and really struggled in school, figuring out a career has really made him worried, and he gets overwhelmed easily. We try to be supportive and not push too hard, don't want him getting too depressed. I hope he finds something to make him feel good about himself, everyone needs to feel productive!


PAS Sorry to hear about your trip cancellation for September If DD needs your focus though, you are right where you need to be! I will miss meeting you and HRH, but it will come to pass one day, my friend....when the time works for all of us! Know we are all here supporting you and praying that all goes well with Bree....

Thank you so much! I can't wait to find out whether they will be having a boy or a girl. They are really hoping for a boy. I'm going to be flooded with babies within a 5-ish month period. One of my cousins is due at the end of July, another is due at the beginning of October, another is due at the end of October and DBF's sister is due in the middle of January. I will hardly see my cousins' kids, but I know I will be seeing my niece/nephew at least once every couple of months or so!

Congrats! Being an aunt is just wonderful!

Since I'm posting I guess you've all figured out that I wasn't eaten by the bears last night! My furbaby and I are safe and sound!

It's going to be another beautifull day here in the mountains .... makes me wonder why I don't live here full time???? Oh yes .... winter ... the snow!!!

Not silly at all!! Great reviews coming out about AOA...some kinks to be worked out, but it is brand new. I was at POP when it was open just 3 mos and everything was going smooth as could be. When in January?! A few RCers will be there for a Girls "weekend" in January too (some of us more days, some less) - wouldn't it be great if our dates crossed!

I'm kind of excited. Not sure what exactly we're doing yet but we at least know the dates! We'll be at AoA from the 2nd Jan - 6th Jan. When are the RCer's Brigade down in everyone's favourite place?

IMO, yes ... depending on how much time/Hogwarts crazy your peeps are! THe first day was ALL about Harry ... the second day our first stop on the Hogwarts express was Hogsmead, then we ventured out of the Magical World and toured the Islands ... and we were able to see what we wanted.

Any more visits from bears?! Or any other potentially scary wildlife?

Like Lions and Tigers ?? [Oh my!!]

Just wanted to say thanks for all the "safe travel" wishes Y'all are the best! We are leaving around 6:30am...will try and give you an update from the AKL tomorrow. We're going to try and check-in around noon then head to DTD to eat at TRex, then a little shopping. I'm dead tired right now from running around like a crazy person Hopefully I can get a little sleep tonight.
