Have a fun and safe trip Heather!

So I decided to not go to New York and take my mom's offer on going to WDW in January and her and my dad will pay for the trip. I've come to realize that it would be hard to save up for the trip while saving up for a car/moving out. Especially since I'd be going in 4 months. I'm hoping my mom will still agree to pay for my trip. My mom originally said December and I told her no way because I wouldn't be able to get the time off and the crazy crowds. I know my parents will not pay for a deluxe resort, but I'm hoping maybe they could afford a moderate.

Now you lovely ladies need to help me pick out a resort. The trip will be during value season so the trip will be a lot more affordable. I am so much more excited about this trip now!

It is on! And I booked a resort we have never stayed in....HRH said last night "I miss the Grand Floridian" Brian overheard and said "You like Pop too, and AKL" She was like "Yes, but I want to go to Hershey Park and eat lots of Chocolate instead " Love that girl of mine!

Pas: Healthy vibes and positive thoughts headed to HRH and you. When the next trip happens, it'll be just that much more special.

Can you easily do WWoHP and some other bits of IoA in one day since I'm thinking that's all we'll have?

Casey did post a great Toring Plan that Jane followed, and it worked for them....we were more leisurely at IoA because we were onsite...I almost switched to AoA for DH and I but a family suite....not needed this trip....

Just wanted to say thanks for all the "safe travel" wishes Y'all are the best! We are leaving around 6:30am...will try and give you an update from the AKL tomorrow. We're going to try and check-in around noon then head to DTD to eat at TRex, then a little shopping. I'm dead tired right now from running around like a crazy person Hopefully I can get a little sleep tonight.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I had a funny story that you guys would appreciate more than anyone. When I called to add a night to our CSR reservation a couple weeks ago, I asked the CM if they keep track of all the changes that are made and he said yes. I said oh I'm sorry and he said don't worry some people make a lot more changes than you. So we finished up and I said thank you and I think I am all set now, no more changes. The CM laughed and said, "Ma'am, you still have 7 months left."

First rule.....never say no more changes....I know a few peeps who may have made a couple more changes than you....so did you switch back to WL yet

pas Hershey is one of those places we talked about going to but never made it there...sounds like a fun trip. My Mom use to talk about going there back in the 30's maybe when it was just the factory. I recall her saying the entire town smelled of chocolate

Still booked at the BWI in. Water view room waiting for a Fall offer for FD or a room discount but starting to think about downgrading to a Std room to make the trip cheaper. Decisions, decisions Had a lot of extra expenses this month so the Vacation account only has $425 in it instead of $600.

First day of summer ... Stay cool and hydrated , I am in the a/c it is 83 here already at 10 am.

IMO, yes ... depending on how much time/Hogwarts crazy your peeps are! THe first day was ALL about Harry ... the second day our first stop on the Hogwarts express was Hogsmead, then we ventured out of the Magical World and toured the Islands ... and we were able to see what we wanted.

Thanks you two. It's good to know that it wouldn't be too much for doing in one day. It's down to IoA or DHS now. Gotta chat to my parents to see which they'd be more up to doing. Since we're staying at AoA, we'd have to drive to IoA. We'd not have the Express thingie so I'm not sure how the lines'll be. Actually, I'm pretty clueless on all of it outside of what you guys have told me and a brief look at the website.

Yikes, Janet. How'd your glasses go MIA?! Are you wearing contacts in the interim? (I'd be out of commission without my specs... walking into walls and such. )

Thank you, Mama Linda. I've "upgraded" since then; my new ones are decidedly more "librarian" looking. Any more bear sightings? When we stayed in Aspen for a month a few years back, we didn't see a single one. I'm not sure if that was a good thing or bad thing.
