Grumpy Grandma, I meant I am currently on Pacific Coast time since I am in California! Yes, I do live in NJ close to Jeanette and Janet.

Dani, I met you at SL, don't know why you think you didn't fit in . You are a lovely lady with two adorable kids

Kook, congrats on your daughter finishing middle school...high school in the fall

Had fun shopping with my daughter. Bought her 2 dresses and some shoes, then we had lunch and shared a Sprinkle Cupcake for dessert. So fun!

Christine I feel kind of silly leaving the rest of the group for the night. I do want to try RPC, but it just seems weird to go to separate resorts for the night.

Dani, I would feel the same...so as much as I might want to do it, would very likely save it for a trip just with my little ones. I think it is a difficult decision...but...if you really want to, then perhaps you can explain to your family that you've always wanted to do this with the munchkins and this trip is a good time to try the resort again? BIG hugs!

I will have to think long and hard about it. It would feel so awkward to leave them and go to another resort. I probably wouldn't make much use of RPC either since I'd stay with our family until as late as possible and then new up again early in the morning.

Oh my gosh, this thread is moving like lightening right now!!!!

Thank you all for the anniversary wishes! We are looking forward to our night away tomorrow.

DH completely surprised me with an amazing diamond necklace!!!
I was shocked! I totally control the finances in the house and he has no ability to buy anything without me knowing, or so I thought....

He has apparently been siphoning money off here and there over the past year, and then when he was getting his travel voucher for his last deployment, he requested it in a regular check instead of the normal direct deposit...it's not a normal pay, so he knew it was just extra money that I wouldn't be expecting or asking about. Tricky fellow! Even after 10 years he has found ways to surprise me.

Up bright and early for DD softball game at 9 am....then we'll be off to Foxwoods!!!!

Have I mentioned how sweet and kind you all are???? I love my computer friends (as DH says, lol)

I'm officially In the 2 Zone!!!!!. 29 days till our trip. I got a reminder email from Southwest last night, about our flights....like I'd forget!!! I got an email from IPO reminding me I'd be there in less than a month and wanting to know if there's anything I'd like to add to my itinerary...it's coming!!!

Oh, and my ticker!!! No more months!!! All weeks and days from here on out!!!!

Jeanette ~ I forgot to give you a for getting rid of diapers, that's a great thing!!!

We had DH's surprise party last night....well it was a surprise until about 2 hours prior! I wrecked it by asking DH to do too much personal grooming! He thought we were just going shopping, so he caught on! But it was a nice night.

Today we have soccer pictures for both older DD's, and dance recitals today and tomorrow for them all. They are nervous but look so adorable in their costumes!

DH and I saw Wicked last night. I knew I would like it but was really surprised at how much DH liked it!

We are heading up to Lake Tahoe this morning .... can't wait to get out of this heat. It is suppose to be 102 today down here in the valley. Say yes to the cool mountain air and beautiful blue water!

We are heading up to Lake Tahoe this morning .... can't wait to get out of this heat. It is suppose to be 102 today down here in the valley. Say yes to the cool mountain air and beautiful blue water!

Oh, Lake Tahoe sounds heavenly! It's not anywhere near your part of the state, but one place I love is Julian - have you been there? Such a nice drive up there - we ate a little restaurant out on the deck overlooking the ...lol..I can't remember if it was hills or mtns! Old age ain't always pretty! Anyway, it's so nice there - though not as pretty as Lake Tahoe.

Jenny, the party sounds like it was a great hit! Happy everything came together nicely...and what's a little slip up when it turned out to be a great celebration?

Last night I had the nicest telephone visit with one of our RCers! Yep, we are planning and scheming....we'll keep you in the loop when it unfolds!

Off to do some errands with DD and DGD. Enjoy your Saturday for those not working. And for those who must work...big hugs!

Hot .... yes .... but as everyone who lives in AZ or CA will tell you it's a "dry" heat so it doesn't feel as hot .... I don't care it's still HOT!
