When I last called (or was it the time before that?) Kidani Savanna View wasn't available, but now it is.

Question (and I think I already know the answer):

Should I change (don't laugh now), 3 nights AoA Suite to 4 nights Kidani one bedroom Savanna View?

Kind of wish I could change resorts to CSR but then I'd lose free dining. Too bad my DBf didn't get his financial aid package till after the FD window ended

Just ordered the Photopass +

Usually, I just take the photopass card provided and order the pics I like off of that, but given that this is the first time DD5 will be able to go on most rides (so the whole family will be in ride pics) and we have several character meals that participate (1900 PF, Chef Mickeys) and we have Pirates League...I think now that they have the pre-order for Photopass+ at $169 now, it's worth it.

I can't wait!!!!

UGH - I am having multi quote issues (I am sure it is user error!). I am not starting over again. Heather - I was trying to quote your AKL pic. You guys are going to have a blast. We stayed there last year and loved it. Make sure to do the smores one night!

I don't know why, but the whole on-line check in discussion is one that is totally bizarre to me...it comes up as a thread about 3 times per day...and I just never gave it so much thought. I personally love on-line check in, but we've never been ones to have room requests, etc...Checking in 10 days ahead of time is something to look forward to, and makes me feel as though my trip is that much closer.

Now...staying CL this trip, I am leaning towards still doing on-line check in. IPO has said that on-line check in won't have an effect on my requests (my only request is a refurbed room, which is pretty much guaranteed b/c during my stay only the refurbed CL rooms will be open) but others are telling me...well, then you'll have to check in at the front desk, vs. upstairs...I'm kind of like "soooooooooooooo"....that's what the front desk is for. I'm definitely not a high maintenance person, and where I check in doesn't matter to me...I wouldn't care if I didn't have to talk to a single person upon check in, I just want my room!!! I guess it's all a matter of preference and what you want out of your check in experience???

Again, bizarre topic to me.

All I want from my check in experience is a KTTW card as quickly as possible

Tell me what you guys think about this potential teensy-tiny "In Room Surprise" I'm thinking of doing for our September stay at the BC...

Kiddo, hubs and I check in on a Wednesday early afternoon and are going to the MNSSHP that Friday. I'm a Halloween freak so I was thinking of doing a tiny surprise in the room. I'd love to have this arranged for that Wednesday evening we arrive...

• Get a bottle of bubbly along with a bottle of sparkling cider (for the kiddo) and 3 flutes. Also, 3 "Halloween themed" cupcakes. Not sure if this is something Private Dining could do or not.
  
• I'd bring along some fabric Halloween bunting and a bit of bats and jack o' lantern confetti. I'd also provide a "Letter from Mickey and Minnie" for my kiddo saying how happy they are to "hear she's coming to their Halloween party this Friday."

I've just emailed IPO for their advice and recommendations.

Whatcha think? Lame? Should I add something to it?

I think I might have missed my chance to do BBB or PL. Kids get big way too fast! My youngest is only 7 (will be 8 by our next trip) but being the youngest, she is heavily influenced by older DD's vision of "cool" 13 yo dd would no way dress up! In fact, I am thinking about getting tix for the Halloween party on either coast (still not committed of course) and I am somewhat unsure if she will wear a costume. She dressed up for Halloween last year with her friends here at home. But, I wanted it to be a surprise so not sure what I could pack that she would actually wear.

Speaking of the two coasts. I am so completely overwhelmed thinking about DL. I have priced packages at Disneyland Hotel and at a Good Neighbor hotel. Of course on-site is about double the price. But I think this will be the one and only time we do this. Its so strange to be looking at everything and not know my way around so to speak! I really want to book airfare today during the SW sale so I guess I am going to commit!

I do think it will be nice to have all the pictures on CD...we usually just log onto Photopass after our trip and print out the ones we want, but we leave alot behind. Now we get to keep them all!!!

No, the aftermath is not pleasant. I am just hiding in my cubicle right now.

If your girls have not done BBB, you have to do it!!!! It's so special and magical and wonderful. My girls LOVED it. They have done it twice now though, so they were looking for something different and they think being made into a pirate would be awesome!!!

We have never purchased the CD before. We usually just get the photopass card from the first photographer we see (usually in front of the Castle at MK) and we just get all of our cards on that and then go home and order the Photobook and some of the pics we want. I guess I never really saw the need to order the CD...but, with the Photopass +, we can get our 1900 PF, Akershus, Chef Mickeys photos...all ride photos, and Pirates League photos, so I am psyched about that!!!

It will be interesting to edit them all, I think...I am still going to get our photobook though, I love making those!
