It's an Iv fluid that we give in the hospitals. Its full of vitamins and it's yellow. We give them a lot to alcoholics. I thought it was funny that movie stars were going to clinics to get these bags after a "hard weekend". The first thing that popped into my head was I could really use one one these after a week of "Poly punch".

LOL!!!! Too funny :) I've got to try me some of that POLY punch :) little secret about me, I've never been drunk in my life, I'm a little scared to let go and not be in control of my senses, I always stop at about 3 at the most....and I don't drink a lot, but those yummy fruity drinks could give me a false sense of security and who knows, I may be in over my head before I know it!!! :scared1: I'm thinking the Lapu Lapu might be too strong for me, I know my BFF wants to they one though, and she's got it on her must do list!!!

I....just....did..it!!!:boat:

OHHH Jenny!!!! a cruise????? When and where???? I often think about a Disney cruise, but I am not sure if I'd like it! My kids are all grown up, so it would be hubby and me ....I wonder if Disney cruises are too kid-oriented!? I worry about sea sickness and being out on the big blue ocean ....I've got a thing about being in the middle of the ocean with no land around!!! ( must be a titanic/ Concordia thing :scared1: I think the Dream? Looks amazing with that cool tube waterside on deck.....wonder how busy that gets though, I hate crowds and lines......cruises also make you dress up for meals :p blech! I hate dressing up period, so that's another con ......I am interested in experiencing castaway cay though! Hmmmmm.....I just don't know, cruising is completely uncharted territory for me!

Hey RC Peeps!!

Just wanted everyone to know that our Sarah (aka Jungle Cruiser) landed safely in CA!! :cool1:

:goodvibes Glad she is safe! So Janet - I guess you are the one in charge of posting everyone's whereabouts when they aren't home to post? First pas, now JC!:rotfl2: Cut me some slack, I am just learning who is who around here!

So I am really struggling pulling the trigger on these airline tix. It is a great sale but I can't get both ways of my trip to line up unless I only want 3 park days. I even checked Orlando. So I can get to Orlando for $99 or to CA for $150 but getting home is much more. UGH. With 5 tickets to buy it adds up fast. I wonder if it is a sign to just wait until I fully commit to one coast or the other. I was totally planning to buy my airfare today and just wait to book my hotel later. :confused3

This thread has been busy! I'm disappointed you changed, Kook! Though I'm sure that won't stick. ;)

One of my friends, who is my age, did the PL and got turned into a Mermaid. I would totes do the BBB! I'm a princess. There's no doubt about that. princess:

I am planning a trip to NY for New York Comic Con in October since I can't go to San Diego for San Diego Comic Con. I have some friends going, including my bestie form Cali, so I won't be going alone. My mom is ok with me going, but hasn't said yes just yet. I'm hoping she says yes soon so I can book my flight because I found a great deal. $198 RT is a steal! Especially since the flights are from/to O'Hare. The hotel will not be too bad because I'm sharing with 3 other friends and my bestie from Cali is getting me a badge so I should be spending less than $400 dollars on my flight and hotel for this trip for 5 days.

I have 3 of the 5 days off. I can't request more than 2 days in a row off, and I can only request 3 unavailable days a month, which stinks, so I have that Friday, Saturday and Monday off and when I can, I'll be changing my availability to not work on Thursdays so I can have that 4th day off and pray I don't get scheduled on that Sunday. Why does this have to be so complicated?

A bit OT....but, I am surfing the boards on my day off at home (:cloud9:) BTW! ...anyway! Holy wowza!!!! Did anyone see the reply on the "what did you pay for Disney 2012" trip thread?....the poster 1jackpot is paying $100,000.00 for a MONTH at CL split between POLY suite and YC suite...flying the family in private jet!!!!! WOW!!! By the user name, they must have won the lottery! But what a trip!!!I was jealous reading it!!! LOL.....honestly though, if I won the lottery.....YES I think I would be headed to WDW, perhaps not a month, but definitely CL somewhere....I'd probably just fly first class though, more money for more trips, :rotfl: Oh to win the lottery that big, must be something else!!! :cloud9: yes, I am dreaming!!! :cloud9: but if I ever do, a RCer meet up IS a definite MUST :) :thumbsup2

Janet lets hope not. I'm going to try to behave myself.

Marie I see you have stayed Cl at BC twice. Did you like it? I'm planning on staying at BC in May, but I'm not sure about Cl.

UGH!!! So anti climactic again!!!:lmao: I cannot fit my new ticker under my Poly one properly!!! Help!!

We didn't dress up. They have a formal night, but we skipped it. We don't have any formal clothes, and I don't plan on buying any. Skorts, capris and sundresses are fine. My kids wore shorts to dinner which is against policy, but a lot of people do it. Don't bring that up on the DCL board you will get attacked. Dress code threads get really ugly over there. They do have a buffet option for dinner if you don't want to eat in the dining room. The also have a couple of signature adult only restaurants. You do need to dress for those, but a sundress and sandals is fine. Men have to wear nice slacks and jacket. They have many adult areas, and they have an adult only pool. Many of the kids go to the oceaners club at night. You will see a lot of adults out and about without their kids.

Okay so it is VERY far away but I am sooo excited!!:yay::dance3::banana: Kids will be 9,7,5 when we go, good ages I think! DH was concerned about all the same things as you, but I have convinced him that it is good to try a short one, then if we don't enjoy it, oh well!!:confused3 At least we tried!! All he wanted was WDW after the cruise....no problem!!

I just don't understand why my ticker sizes are off now!!

I need help from my friends here!!! I'm so trying to be strong! As you all know I love to add on days to my trips. Well for days now I've been thinking about adding days to my Oct trip .... wouldn't you think that 12 days would be enough? :confused3 Now my reason for not adding days is that I want/need to save my travel $ for the January trip! HELP!!!

Hey RC Peeps!!
Love Ron .... he is SO likeable!!

Maybe my DD would throw more enthusiam into working out if I hired a George Weasley lookalike (my DD and BFF are aka George & Fred Weasley :))

Hahaha, love it. They must get up to lots of mischief then, eh? :thumbsup2 (My guy is more like an evil Ron Weasley. I keep imagining him as the "Ron Who Wore the Horcrux Too Long.")

I....just....did..it!!!:boat:

:woohoo: Nice! This'll be an interesting cruise-experiment for you all. All this planning in store for you... even better!

... I'm thinking the Lapu Lapu might be too strong for me, I know my BFF wants to they one though, and she's got it on her must do list!!!

Oh you must, you must try a Lapu-Lapu! Even if it's just a sip of your BFF's. Stick to 1-2 and you'll be fine. :goodvibes

I am planning a trip to NY for New York Comic Con in October since I can't go to San Diego for San Diego Comic Con. ...

My cousins in San Diego go to this every year. One of these days I'm going to have to attend with them. :wizard: Now, I hope when they do, they still have the Game of Thrones rickshaws for people to ride in up and down the road in front of the convention center. I must sit on the Iron Throne.

:lmao: I can offer no help. I just added two days onto our original trip -- and I usually like short trips!

How about I whisper something... go for it! :rolleyes1

Your so like me. Vacations are never long enough. It's going to be hard not taking a 17 day May vacation like we have done the last 3 years. I have to behave myself so I can pay off the cruise by July. Be strong. Can you add days on to your January vacation?

I'm still trying to decide between the eastern and Western carribean cruise. I'm leaning towards the eastern. I know the beaches in St Martin are clothes optional, and I have two boys.:scared1:I know my 10 year old will look away embarrassed, but I'm sure my then 8 year old will stare, and then walk up to the women and ask her whys she's naked. Hmm what to do?

12 days is pretty good! I think you save up for January. Two vacations are definitely better than one!

Hi RCers!

Kook, glad to hear you got that Kidani reservation. :thumbsup2

Ahoy there RC potential cruisers! I am so enjoying back reading about plans and possibilities. :boat:

Big news today, I bought a dress for DD's wedding. We have a lot going on in the coming months, and I didn't want to have to worry about this. Here is a photo of it:
http://www.dillards.com/product/S.L.-Fashions-Bolero-Jacket-Dress_301_-1_301_503017574

It is a soft sage-ish green, not sure why they describe the color in the write up as silver. I need to have some alterations done, so I'm glad I got it ahead of time. That model must be really tall, it's not that short on me. Once August gets here it's going to be busy straight thru to the wedding. I am so glad to have this taken care of. :goodvibes

I'll sign off here and get busy reading all the latest RC news. :cool1:
