I asked my Dad today if they would like to come down with us next March and see a Braves game at Spring Training. Surprisingly he said they might do that. Last year we did this and was able to book OKW very last minute. So this time we are hoping to stay at VWL, but because of not so many rooms, we will be booking at 11 mos.

Heres the dilema, we will get 2 studios so they can have their own room. If we book with Aug05 use yr pts and they back out what happens to our pts. I feel like we could get that taken care of before the 30 day holding acct thing but do we have to use those pts up before Aug06 use yr rolls around.

I think I know the answer but if one of you vets can clarify for me I will be forever grateful.

Your Aug '05 points must be used by July 31, 2006. If you cannot use them all by that time, you have until January 31, '06 to bank 100% of your points into the next Use Year. From 2/1 to 4/30 you can bank up to 50% of your points, and in the month of May you can bank 25%.

All of this is with the assumption that you cancel more than 30 days out. If you wait until less than 30 days, the points go into holding, cannot be banked, and have additional restrictions on how the can be used before the end of the year.
