As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

2 more days and I'll be back home in my bed!
As much as I love vacations and spending time with family, it's always good to be home.

MIL has been up to all sorts of things while we've been gone. She decided to take out my 3 garden boxes that the kids made for me several years ago so she could park a trailer in our back yard.:headache: She had to have the neighbors tow our truck out of the driveway and take down part of the fence to get it in. it never crossed her mind to ask our opinion on this before she did it. Let's just say I was ready to strangle her when I found out.

Sunday she called D.Jay to tell him that she's lost one of our dogs. She left the back door open, for heaven only knows how long, and Talulah ran away. As of today, she still hasn't found her.:guilty:
We aren't going to tell the kids untill we get home....I tempted to make her tell them.

So there may be an entertaining story about how I hung her by her toenails once I get home.:rolleyes1

I feel your pain. Pain in the butt that is. Did you read my update about what my MIL did while we were gone?

I hope you find your dog, Cherie! :sad1: You have the patience of a saint.

All that stuff is intrusive. But I'm so sorry about your dog. :sad1:
I hope you find her. And yes, let MIL tell the kids. 100%, she has to own up to it.

Remember there are no Disney trips while you are in jail. I am pretty sure you get a life sentence for homicide. Even if it is justified.:rotfl: I hope that you find your baby.

dh thinks that's a little too mean of me....I still think it's a great idea.

How's the foot?

we're still in Utah, going home tomorrow or friday.
The foot is better, it's still swollen and discolored but no longer grotesque!

Oh, Cherie!!! I hope you find Talulah!

People always worry about leaving the teenagers at home, but who would have thought leaving the MIL at home could be just as dangerous???

I didn't want to know if she chased down eeyore or not....if she didn't it wasn't for lack of trying.
She never goes anywhere without a bunch of crap with her, so I guess she's just used to it.:confused3

I totally forgot to tell the kids beforehand about Talulah...stupid, stupid me.
Hunter and Ethan both went running to find the dogs before I had a chance to tell them. They are both devestated.
MIL came up to say hi when we got home and was all perky and happy. Not a mention about Talulah. She saw the boys crying and acted like nothing had happened.
I know she didn't do it on purpose, but sheesh...show some compassion . Or, howbout an "I'm sorry".

Welcome home!

I wish you were coming home to better news. Maybe she'll come back now that you're home and she just hiding out from MIL.

Coming out of lurkdom here.
You are a saint for dealing with your MIL. Me, not so much. My MIL has done her share and is quite happy trying to get family members to fight against each other.
I hope your dog returns and everything can get back to normal and you don't find any more surprises from MIL.

Everyone was excited to ride Expedition Everest...well, everyone except MIL, but she was a good sport about it.

This was one of the rides that Ethan had wanted to try but always chickened out when we got to the line. This year he was determined to conquer the mountain!

Luckily Bailie was there to entertain him while we were in line waiting...

Ethan's Yeti face..

We made it to the train...Ethan was about to wet himself but we talked him into going through with it.

We're one the little train that is going to rocket us up and around Everest with a narrow escape from the Yeti.....the train climbs slowly to the top, then away we go....Ethan is laugh screaming the whole way, but he's loving it.
Our train comes to a stop at the top of a broken track...it then shoots us backwards.........and then it stops!

The little train that might stopped just at the point you're about to go forward again.

we sat and waited.....and waited......and waited....
Ethan was starting to freak out at this point. I did manage to snap a picture..

After at least 5 minutes we slowly started forward only to stop 10 seconds later for another 5 minutes. It really took all the fun out of it.
Poor Ethan was trying so hard to be brave, but all the waiting really scared him.

When we got off the ride we were given fast passes to come back later.

Ethan said with a very wobbly voice "that was awesome"!

We grabbed fp's for Dinosaur and walked around for a bit. I could take pictures here for hours, but for my families sake, I try to keep it to a 30 minutes or so.

this is one of our favorite picture spots

sadly, we still haven't found her. Hunter is taking it the hardest.
Our other doxy, Sophie, is totally lost without her.

Luckily, MIL isn't someone who does these things on purpose. In fact she's blissfully oblivious 99% of the time.:rotfl2:
So, I keep reminding myself that she didn't mean to upset me.
