I don't know if I told you this story before but you reminded me of it when you talked about the kid touching your booty.

My uncle was waiting in line at a gas station with his little grandson Trey. The lady standing in front of them in line had a HUGE butt. Trey turned to my uncle and said, "Hold my Icee, Pop." My uncle took the Icee from Trey and then Trey turned around and proceeded to play the drums on the womans booty. I can just imagine my uncle's face when she turned around and he was just standing there holding that Icee. How do you explain yourself out of that one? We still laugh about that story to this day. Oh, by the way that was "Aunt Betty's grandson that did that. Some people's children!!

Your MIL and mine must be long lost relatives. You should see the stuff she takes with her just to a baseball game. She really does need a pack mule. If she read this trip report she would see nothing wrong with someone taking a full size quilt to a theme park. I mean you never know someone might get cold or want to lay down on the sidewalk and take a nap.

Have you seen this youtube video yet? It is sooooooooo funny. That is the exact same way some of my family talks. I live in the heart of cajun land and that is the accent. The video reminds me of what it would be like if my Aunt Betty tried to use onstar. The guy in the video has her exact same accent.

I've been on that safari ride 3 or 4 times and have yet to see that dang lion. Well, I've seen some fuzz of the top of his head where people say, "that's where the lion's laying down", but not a really good look. You got a good look at him.

Evan and Bailie have a love/hate relationship with MIL.....they love her, but hate to be seen in public with her.

Today is the 4 week mark since my surgery. That means I should be getting my walking boot today!
I can't wait!

We're also heading out this afternoon on a 4,000 mile 2 1/2 week road trip! Pray for my sanity!

I plan to check in whenever I can. Our laptop is kaput so I'll have to sneak onto families computers without them doing what I'm doing.

I love your kissing picture with King Louie! I'm jealous! When we seen them, there was a line of course- and it was like the CM were in a hurry to get us passed. They did have a photographer- which took our picture and when I asked them to take a picture with my camera- they did but acted irritated I thought- "this is your job" I'm sorry I want a picture with both of us.

I love the pictures that from Crystal Palace- At least I'm guessing thats where its from. The food is soo yummy and its sooo pretty there. I love it.

i got the ok to walk monday but i don't think my dr meant walkingaround rushmore andmall of america, when he said to take it easy for 2 more weeks.

It's our last night in minneapolis. We're heading south to Nauvoo, IL in the morning. We'll be there for 2 days and then a 17 hour drive to Utah....pray for my sanity!
We've also picked up and extra child along the way. Our niece is going on the rest of the trip with us and then flying home from washington. That's 5 kids in the mini van!

I think i may need that prozac now more than ever!

thank heavens none of the kids have inherited the quilt gene!

we made it to Utah....I"m sooooo tired! My sister took all the kids to a waterpark so we can sleep.....I guess I should go take a nap.

2 more days and I'll be back home in my bed!
As much as I love vacations and spending time with family, it's always good to be home.

MIL has been up to all sorts of things while we've been gone. She decided to take out my 3 garden boxes that the kids made for me several years ago so she could park a trailer in our back yard. She had to have the neighbors tow our truck out of the driveway and take down part of the fence to get it in. it never crossed her mind to ask our opinion on this before she did it. Let's just say I was ready to strangle her when I found out.

Sunday she called D.Jay to tell him that she's lost one of our dogs. She left the back door open, for heaven only knows how long, and Talulah ran away. As of today, she still hasn't found her.
We aren't going to tell the kids untill we get home....I tempted to make her tell them.

So there may be an entertaining story about how I hung her by her toenails once I get home.
