Hey all!

Where can I find great Disney art prints? I know that Disneyland (rather California Adventure) has the Off the Page store and they have a PC that you can find prints and have them shipped to you, but where can I buy them outside the parks? We wont be back to DL until October probably, and are trying to get a couple posters/prints... Looking for some castle ones, and maybe classic Mickey/Minnie, but would see what is out there...

Anyone, anyone? Thanks in advance!:)

The closest you can get to something legit would be disneyshopping.com. once there click on "Home & Collectibles" in the top tab, then click on "Collectibles" on the left tab, then click on "Art". They have some nice art work available there. (I'm a little peeved that they don't ship to Hawaii though  ).

Or you can try your luck on ebay!:scared:

As stated above, outside of the parks would be Disney Shopping. In the parks, there's also WoD in DTD. They also have a PC to browse through. Disneyana in DL has some posters, but not much if you're just looking for prints. How about ebay?

Disneyana on Main Street also has a order prints from the PC thing. Note that some of the artwork pictured on Disney Fine Art can be purchased in the parks. Your local Michaels store may have some Disney art prints that you can purchase as well.

Haha yes I knew they would be expensive, but wow! I actually have the "Sleeping Beauty Castle" by Jane Seymour, but it's a print I bought at Off the Page last time I was there... It was only $35 compared to $1000 for a canvas or whatever that was... :rotfl:

I have searched all of the local Michaels for prints, but they are really not worth the money... I think I can find the same ones at WalMart for 4.99... Heh, I guess I will wait til I get back down to DL or WDW.

The one that I saw that I LOVED LOVED LOVED was mostly baby blue, with Giselles white foofy princess dress on it. It was absolutely gorgeous! I will have to save up I guess...

Thank you all who responded and if you see prints elsewhere, please let me know! :thumbsup2

Well, the trick is the difference between an art print and fine art. The fine art is going to start in the hundreds of dollars area and go upwards from there depending on the artist/rarity of the painting.

On the other hand, art prints are produced for the mass market and can be obtained for considerably less money. The catch is selection. Some fine art will simply not be produced as an art print. Disney actually does produce a decent number of art prints that can also be obtained as fine art, but not every fine art piece they sell will be released as a print.

World of Disney also has the Disney art kiosk. The catch with the lower price on those pieces is that the quality is not as good as the fine art.
