We are flying in on 9/25, a Saturday. I am saying conservatively checked in Pop and ready to hit the parks by noon. Where should we go first since it is Saturday? Kids are 2.5 and 7.

I have to make a plan! We are so close now!!!

Thanks,

Margaret

I'd avoid MK.. it's early entry day AND Saturday is very busy with us locals :)

You must go to MK in he evening on Sat
Sat is the only night you can get to see the light
Parade the big highlight of any disney trip

I suggest maybe an afternoon seeing some of MGM or possiblely walking around AK and doing some of the trails.that is very relaxing. Go to Mk and see the parade at night definitely...:sunny:

We are arriving the Saturday prior (9/18) and I am planning to head over to Epcot. The UG book suggests to do Epcot on the weekends during low season because MK is crowded on weekends and Epcot gets very crowded during the week with school trips. Check the schedule.... the light parade at MK is also on Tuesday nights, not just on Saturday (at least that is the case during the week we will be there).
Good luck!:Pinkbounc

If it's your kids first trip, I would go directly to MK. Your 7 year old won't be able to wait. I know it'll be crowded, but during the off-season, not that bad.
You can probably still get on many rides (Country Bear, Buzz, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, the Train) without too long of a wait. Make dinner reservations at LTT, CP or CRT (probably can still get one).

If it's just too maddening, you can always jump on the monrail and have dinner at Contemporary or Poly (make backup PSs there)

Early entry at the Magic Kingdom is now on Sunday instead of Saturday. It's still a good idea to go elsewhere because of the crowds at the MK. I'd go to Epcot.
