Armed Forces Salute Question!

I hope I'm putting this in the right place.

This will be our first time using the military discount. My question is involving purchasing the armed forces salute tickets. I am a dependent and will be using my dependent id to purchase them. However, my husband is still in basic at the moment. Will I be allowed to purchase them with him still in training?

There is nothing keeping you from being able to purchase them. Who are you purchasing them from? I only ask because my MWR place likes to give the third degree before letting them go. I receive an unsolicited run down of the rules each year I purchase them.

Glad you added that you were married. Military member and spouse can purchase tickets.
A plain dependent like a son or daughter can not buy a ticket on their own.

Yes. As long as you have an ID and it list "SP" under relationship, you will have no problem.

If need be you can order from Camp Pendleton and they will mail you tickets. It takes a bit longer but not all bases carry the tickets. You can also purchase from Shades of Green.

Check out http://www.militarydisneytips.com/ if you haven't already. There is a ton of good info. My family and I have been going since 2001 using the salute tickets when they have been available. Have fun.

I purchased the the military salute 5 day hoppers from Scott AFB two weeks ago and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I called ahead to make sure they had the tickets.
