Ariel's Grotto menu - not on menu database

We will be going to DLR next week and DD6 really wants to do Ariel's Grotto. DH doesn't want to fork over the $$$ unless he knows what's on the menu. The last time we went was April 2007, and the food wasn't that great. I hear it has changed since then. The menu isn't listed on the menu database yet, so am wondering if anyone who has been there recently can help me out with some info. We would probably do lunch or dinner, not breakfast.

We are like you. We've eaten there 3 times with the old menu abd didn't like it at all. But DD HAS to see Ariel. We were there on Sunday and I have to say it was exceptional. They brought a basket of breads (3 different varieties) with butter, pesto yogurt something and ranch. Then a three tier appetizer. The first tier had gelatin with strawberries, the second had antipasto items and the third had mixed salad.
I had the cipinno, DH had the tritip and DMIl had the redfish. All were awesome!!! Dessert was a selection of chocolate desserts- tarts, fruit in and edible chocolate shell, brownies.

Please go- you won't regret the $$$ spent!

Did you get them from GAT or Disney? The reason I ask, if you got them from GAT, make sure they have the dates you want to use them in their system. If you buy them online, they assign the immediate days after purchase as your use dates. Give them a call and tell them when you want to use them.

I will be going for a lunch when me, and DH go. I did it this halloween with Dd, and it was so much better than the the previous menu of meatloaf, and burgers. I wasnt thrilled with the antipasto tiers, but that was no biggie lunch, and the awesome new dessert sampler trumped that.The seahorse molten cake omg heaven. Can't wait to go again.

Good advice. We ordered them from CAA (Canadian version of AAA) and they asked for our travel dates, so I assume that's why.

I told DH about the menu change and he is now keen to go!
