Are you still friends with your first ever friend?

The neighborhood. Liz and I grew apart 3/4 grades as she met new friends on the bigger playground and building forts was not fun anymore LOL We are family friends so sill on facebook and just had to call her about a death in our family. The other is my exH and his family. Still friendly (so so). My best friend since 12 (now 52 years) are still friends.

Sure. She's a lovely person who has had a very successful and happy life in a totally different direction than mine (also successful and happy ). She stayed in our hometown and I left when I was 20. Our relationship since then has been limited to getting together periodically when I've been back over the years - we're no longer close by any stretch of the imagination. But our visits, whether they take place at weddings, funerals or other random settings are always filled with laughter and are very satisfying.

My very first friend was in pre-k and we didn't live near each other so we only saw each other in pre-k so not didn't keep in touch after that. Although we did have plans to be married lol.

My next friend I met in 1st grade and just was at her house an hour ago.

Yes we are still good friends. We met in kindergarten, and our friendship has lasted 70 years.

Yes, for over 60 years. We met in Grade 4. We see each other regularly and email daily. Sometimes three times a day, just when we want to chat, catch up, share, vent, cry on each other’s shoulders. She introduced me to my DH. She means the world to me and I’m lucky to have such a good friend.

Lost contact with my 1st friend a long time ago; however, I am still in contact with a "yucky girl" that I met in 1st Grade - September 1956 who was never really a good friend but instead was *a friend/acquaintance* thanks to our school years. Matter of fact, I just left her while she sleeps. Married 48 years, 6 months 9 days..

Yes - 67 years. Our parents moved in next door to each other in 1954. I was three and she was two. We have been besties ever since. I love her like a sister.

No, I was moved around so much in my early childhood that I couldn't even tell you most of their first names.

Lots of acquaintances, few friends. One friend dates back to my childhood.

I'm in touch with her on FB, but I haven't seen her in person since my Dad's funeral in 1987. I guess I would call her an acquaintance now. Our parents were friends, which is how we were sort of thrown together.
