Are you practical or impulsive?

Tuesday, a buddy at work was really out of it. Sunday, a friend of his told him that he had an extra ticket to the Monday night football game, so my coworker took him up on it. He talked about how ten years ago he'd have refused, having work the next day after all, and then regretted it later. Instead, he had a blast, saw a great game, and was tired the next day.

The older I get, the more impulsive I am becoming.

overall, very practical but on occasion, impulsive. my impulsive decisions however are usually those that have a "back door".

I'm incredibly impulsive. Pretty much always have been, but it's gotten a lot worse since my cancer scare 6 years ago. Ever since then I've thought, "Hey, life is too short..."

I'm way too practical for my own good. I try to be more impulsive but it just doesn't happen.

Yes.
On many occasions I am Mr. Practicality
and then again, on many occassions I am a slave to my impulses.
Fortuanetly, when it comes to spending more than 50 dollars, my practical nature takes control. Anything less and my impulsiveness might just be leading the way.

Both. I guess that would make me practically impulsive.

I am impulsive, but within limits. Using an example like the OP's, I would go to a game if the only practical thing keeping me from going was that I had to work the next day. However, if I had to take my son to karate, or had a work project that had to be finished by morning, etc, then I would refuse the ticket.

I guess I'm both I'm impulsive with things I really want to spend my money on and that interest me. Then I'm practical about other things.

I'm very practical, methodical and organized. I have my impulsiveness now and then, which is sometimes a treat.

I'm very much both. In certain ways I'm a planner to the extreme (and I think way too long about making purchases, etc), but in other ways I'm impulsive. If it has anything to do with having fun, I'm all for it.

Practical. Like in the Op, I was more impulsive when I was younger for things like sacrificing sleep for fun. I'm starting to go back the other direction though now that my kids are older. I think when you're a parent, the practical mom side just takes over for a while out of necessity.
