I was in the black hole, but I changed my reservation to halloween weekend and got the BR for POFQ-109 plus tax. I was fortunate that my dates were flexible. I am glad I did because I think with today's email to AP holders, there chance of Oct AP rates is getting smaller. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting!

When did you all first hear of the change to 60 days? I just got an email today, but when I booked LAST week I was at exactly 60 days.

Ugh - I am currently residing inside the AP Black Hole! I have accepted that there will probably not be any AP rates for my dates, Oct 17-23. I just got the vacation time approved at my job, so I never could use the Best Rates. I am already cringing knowing I have to pay rack rate, but so be it. But best rates will probably always be useless to me, since my job has factors that make it almost impossible to plan way ahead.

I learned about the changes to the 60 days on the day it was announced. But I also just got the email today.
The day that it was announced, I was at 60 days(I arrive on October 25th). I already had reservations at the Grand Floridian and checked to see if there were any best rates but none were available. The only deluxe available for my dates was the Saratoga Springs Resort.

I have no AP... but I do have a Disney Visa. Waiting and hoping but very doubtful I will see any discounts. Paying full price is totally against my religion.

Also in the Black Hole.I am totally upset of this whole thing,we arrive on the 21st and I just missed the 60days.I cannot believe if they honor the FLA resident glitch and make us pay rack rate.I will not take up the slack, I will stay off site.Our flights are booked and my DBIL and DSIL cannot change their vacation days.I am waaiting on a response from my email.Is their a # I can call and speak with someone about this.

AAA was the same price as booking thru Walt Disney Travel Co so I booked thru WDTC so I could use my Disney Visa to get the 0% interest for 6 months.
I chose these dates b/c I was able to get aifare for 153.00RT but now I know for next time to book the trip based upon the WDW package specials.

I am in the black hole for one of my trips. I am not really upest. I was able to get a AAA discount. I really did not purchase my AP expecting a room discount, but rather for park admission as a frequent visitor to Disney World.
