Are you going to renew your AP this year?

No. Ours expire 1/8/2006. We alternate a year of WDW then a year of USF/IOA, then back again . . .

We will probably renew ours. The kids like going enough that it provides more than its money worth for us. The other perks are nice but aren't the main reason we get the passes.

I am in your boat. That does make sense to wait until the next trip actually comes to get an AP then, instead of getting one in Dec., and not getting its first use until the end of March. We actually got a better rate at FW with just rack rate, so it won't be a factor there. If Disney extends the promotion they were giving thru March 8 until the end of March, we may just get those hoppers (with plusses added for free). Oh well, I'm daydreaming again.
I can make my decision on the tickets in March, and if an AP is the option, at least I didn't waste any of it by buying it now.

As long as we live in the area we will renew them next year when they expire. It's worth it to me as we go down a few times a month.

ITA! Even though this is our first year having AP's, mine has already paid for itself since I take my DD over for day trips.

Absolutely!

With the number of times that I go to FL to check on the house I get my money's worth. In fact mine expired in Nov and I renewed it then, Dw's expired then also and we renewed it 1 week after it expired (we alternate trips a lot)

Because we infrequently stay onsite (except for special occasions) we use ours primarily for park admission and DDE. (free parking and 10% off WOD is also a nice perk)

We just got back from a last minute trip and I did buy AP's but I did think seriously about it first. I was tempted to get the ten day ticket as it might have saved me money if we made two trips. Since I will have about $600 in credit card rewards and convinced myself that I can use that FREE money toward the passes I went with that.

Now I might be forced to made TWO trips to DW next year to get the most bang for a buck from our passes though. Is a sad situation but what else can I do? I figured out that with the huge discount with my cc rewards it will cost us an average of about $6-8 a day for the both of us to go into the parks.

I wish we had done the AP thing last year. We're going earlier than we originally expected, so we would have gotten two vacations out of the pass if we had renewed. And we cannot do the AP thing this coming year, since we're pretty sure that our next trip will be later in the year than our upcoming trip.
