Are YOU dressing up for MNSSHP?

I love this thread! Make's me wish Halloween would get here quick. :yay: I love seeing all the costumes that people wear.:thumbsup2

I think I got it ~ I'll be Tiger Lily, DD can be Tink, DS can be Peter Pan or John, my mom can be Wendy, PP or somebody else.

I sooo want to dress up but can't figure out what to do with our group.
There will be me, 2 boys age 10, and 1 girl age 13. I am a fluffy chick with a goth heart so anything I think I want to me just doesn't look right. Any suggestions on what we could do that won't look stupid?
Or, i can just do a tshirt and let the kids be what they want to me, I thought the group thing would be cool.
We are going in October....

Thanks!!

A friend and I are going for our 40th bdays to the party. We are going as the Evil Queen and Maleficient. Our kids think it is very appropriate.:rolleyes1

Here's my dilemma, love Halloween and always do elaborate costumes for a big party we have here. Doing Mnsshp on 9/11 "hate typing that date". Would love to dress up but this is the problem. Doing AK that day then CP for dinner then the party. No time to go back to room and change. Any ideas on something I can carry in my bag to make a quick change. :confused3:grouphug::cheer2::laundy:

Us too! So which princesses will she be????? We'll have several new princess gowns to cover our days in the parks AND the parties. So many gowns, so FEW gown wearing opportunities! :wizard:

I agree! My daughter can't wait to dress uo everyday!

My husband and I don't dress up in traditional costumes. Last year we got t-shirts. His said "I'm the trick", and mine said "I'm the treat".

They were so easy last year that we are doing the same this year. His is going to say "667 I'm the neighbor of the beast" and mine will say "333 I'm only half evil" :rotfl:

They are just t-shirts that can be paired with shorts or jeans. You can get them in long sleeve t-shirts too, but since we are going in September, I think the short sleeved ones will be fine!

LOVE IT. :rotfl:

I'm pretty fluffy, too. Here's some costumes I considered for myself:
~Pirate or Esmerelda (from Hunchback) - peasant blouses are great!
~Queen of Hearts
~Ursala
~Fairy Godmother
~Fairy from Sleeping Beauty
~Witch with the apple from Snow White
~Daisy Duck
~Winnie
~Eyore

A lot of those costumes are just TOO HOT for Florida and I did a Pink Pirate at DL last year, so this year we decided to do Hercules characters as a group and I'll be the funny, fluffy Muse. ;)

You'll have fun whatever you wear! :goodvibes

Do a Little Mermaid theme, you could be Ursula (shoulderless dark dress to help with the Florida heat and you could goth it up a bit) the boys could be Triton and Eric or Ursula's evil eels Flotsam and Jetsam and the girl could be Ariel.

I bring LOTS of costumes and accessories for my daughter. I pack at least an extra suitcase (or 2!) for all the stuff. I get hosed in extra baggage fees, but the photos are priceless!

Those costumes are stunning! :thumbsup2

We will be going as the Obama's. The hardest thing is how to fix the teleprompter so that it won't be in the way of other people. I think right now that I will make it the treat bag also. Killing two birds with one stone.

DH and I are not, but we're taking DD to BBB for a princess transformation.

We are taking our DD to BBB to be a princess as well. She loves that! But she wants to be Alice for the party..and my little boy wants to be the King of Hearts..he is too funny!

This is a little off topic but we are staying at Animal Kingdom villas and I was curious if you had any pics or knew where I could find some pics sincew you are a DVC member. Thanks!
