Are YOU dressing up for MNSSHP?

Dh and I sorta dressed up last year. I wore a sleeveless black dress and red cape, was called little red riding hood several times, but didn't really look the part. Dh was one of Dog the Bounty Hunters sons, in his camo pants, black combat boots, and wife beater tank, found some plastic handcuffs and a badge at Party City and attempted to add some tattoos, but that didn't work very well.

I wouldn't be hard to come up with something for Dh, but I am very pooh sized and also ride an ECV, so I have to take that into consideration. Nobody sales really plus size costumes and I don't want to spend alot either.I still have the red cape, but can't come up with anything.

I would love to do something Disney. I will wear what I already have if I have to. I might try the Pirate with everyday clothes and a few accessories, because we really want to be pirates.

We're doing 2 parties and several costumes. Of course, I make costumes for a living so that's not a stretch for me!

Your costumes are so cute! I wish we were there at the same time so you could pose with us as the Fairy Godmother, and I could loan you my Prince Charmings!! lol!

Last year we were in Disney too early, and missed the MNSSHP, but this year we'll be there on Sept 4th, and catch the first party. I just bought the tickets today, so now we have to figure out what costumes we'll all wear for the party.

See ya there!! We will be there that night as well I am sure I will manage a lime green mickey head on our costumes, so look for us!

I have a LGMH which hangs from my belt loop, or pocket along with my FP / KTTW card holder and sharpie marker. We'll def keep an eye out for LGMH while we are there, and especially at the party.

We haven't been to the MNSSHP yet (hopefully this year). But we have been to WDW on Halloween the past 2 years, and we did dress up. We normally dress up on Halloween anyways.

This year I think the boys will be Indiana Jones and the girls will be different princesses with the common clothes on. I want to be Belle in her blue dress and white apron.

What I really want is to be the characters from Sky High, but I can't figure out how to make those costumes

We went to MNSSHP two years ago on Halloween night. It had to be my favorite Halloween of all time!

We dressed up as 'ghosts' of sorts. I lost count of how many people stopped to ask us if they could take our picture, they thought we worked at the Haunted Mansion!

We'll be going on Sept 25 or 29th. I'm waiting to buy tickets until about a week out so I can get a look at the weather.

The 7 of us are talking about going as characters from Hercules: Meg, 2 Muses, Hercules, Zeuss, Hades and Mercury. We figured we'd wear shorter togas - not floor length - to keep the costumes cooler.

There are sooo many cute couples costumes! I was looking at some ADORABLE ones from Alice in Wonderland last night, you could be The Queen of Hearts (since you love villians!), DH could be The Mad Hatter! I just searched "Adult Disney" costumes on Ebay and so much came up! Let us know what you decide!!

Yep it is indeed the Snow White box...and the roses on my shoulder are my tattoo artists version of "Painting the Roses Red" from Alice in Wonderland!

I have thrown the idea out there of the Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter and the hubby is thinking it over. He likes the idea of going western...not cowboys per se, but gunslinger and saloon girl. Seeing as how I never bothered to learn to sew we would need one of our mom's to do it. Glad I'm thinking about all of this now though...it could take awhile to get the stuff together!

I really love the Jack and Sally idea! Their costumes are so cute. I'd consider it if we were going later when its cooler. The costumes look like they may get a little warm, more so for Jack. 300 is a good idea and I don't think it'd be over played at all. That movie was like a year or more ago so it would be safe. Plus you know the costumes aren't going to make you sweat to death in the Florida heat. Now I really want to convince Michael to do either a couple costume thing or a movie them. I doubt he'd go for it though. Alice in Wonderland or a 40's couple are my favs right now.

Jordan didn't like the Jack and Sally idea...I think he doesn't think he can pull off the skinny twig figure. And the 300 idea didn't go over well either. I'm S.O.L. with both!

My best friend and her ex-bf did Popeye and Oliveoil one year...man was THAT cute!?!!
