Are we going to have to stay off site in May??

We were waiting for the ap rates to come out for may and I am getting the impression that things don't look good. What is up with no discounts on the weekend?

We recieved a 40% off code but the whole month of may is practically blocked out. So I am guessing that the ap rates can't be that great either and if they block out the weekend that seriously cuts into the discount.

My dh wants to try something different and is tired of the disney motel feel. I was really holding out for a good code for AKL or another deluxe. I am starting to think it might be DD hilton or something. These discounts definatly are geared towards the package guest and I have been enough now to know I will never pay rack rate or anything close. Anyone ever get a good deal at the Swan or Dolphin in may?

We go to Disney every May for our anniversary and we have gotten great AP rates for the WL every May since 2004. Last year we got $111.00 off the rack rate for our stay (I think we paid around $184.00 a night for woods view or something like that.)And if I remember correctly, the only weekend that was blocked off last May was Memorial Day weekend, other than that, the AP rates were good till that weekend. Hope that helps a bit!!!

AAA says that they offer 35% off the Swan and The Dolphin, most nights year-round. That is according to The AAA Disney Vacations brochure that I just got.

I'm hoping another discount will be coming out that includes most of May.

I've currently got a room only booked with the AAA discount but I really want to get a better discount than that.

Not sure how you really feel about Hilton but I was just offered via telephone from Hilton Reservations a rate of $500 for the whole week in Jr. Suite at DTD Hilton plus some other packaged bonuses, can't remember what they were, for the first week of May. This included weekend dates. They called me as a preferred guest (we signed up on line for the frequent guest rewards card), but you might be able to get the deal by calling them.
