We are travelling on our first Disney cruise next year, and I'm looking at booking a domestic flight which departs from Orlando airport at 12:00pm, is that cutting it too fine? I thought i read Disney recommends 12:30pm flight at the earliest.

I think you are probably OK if you don't lollygag in getting off the ship. How are you getting to MCO?

You can do DCL's Onboard Airline Check-In for flights as early as 11:30am, so that tells you something about the reliability of being able to get to the airport well before noon. No, 12pm won't be a problem (as long as you don't eat 2nd seating breakfast & be among the last off the ship). It's perfect timing, actually.

In the rare chance flight time changes. I would consider a later flight. JW

I haven't booked anything yet. We're a family of 5 - 2A3C, i might look at doing a private transfer

Then I agree with the others. Barring some major traffic incident en route to MCO, you're probably fine.
