Our neighborhood yard sale is coming up, and, as a hopeless pack rat, I'm trying to be really ruthless this year. I have two pantries and an entire shelf in one of them is these silly tins. (I have three boys, and I was their best customer!) I was planning to put them out for either 25 cents or 50 cents each, but I would hate to hear that they are a "collectible." Will I even get rid of them at that price?

I also have many of these tins. I put them out for 25 cents. We have a local tin collector in our neighborhood. :)

You might at a garage sale if you have a buyer looking for them. There are some in eBay stores starting at around $3-4.

Are you going to sell any water, pop or snack items at your sale? If so, maybe fill the tins with a stack of cookies, mini bag of chips and a bottle of water (have the water in a cooler of ice) and give it a cute name. Something like garage sale survivor kit or ???? Maybe toss in a band-aid for those that get blisters. ;) Even if you don't bake anything a trip to Sam's Club for the snacks can still be profitable to you.
