Are they ever going to replace the Timekeeper?

This ride is only open seasonally and does not seem to draw too many complaints about being closed most of the time (contrary to the CoP). I personally am not broken hearted about its "open seasonally" status the way I am about CoP. I wish they would replace this with something BETTER! It seems like a lot of wasted space to me. Am I alone here?

I thought Timekeeper was cute and fun, and maybe I'm just extra sensitive, but the effect of flying really got to me! I had to sit down! That's my only complaint, that there are no seats, but if there were, you wouldn't be free to see all around you. It's not a spectacular attraction, but I liked it. I guess I'm in the minority LOL!

Aisling - mind if I join you over there in the minority? I like the show too. I think its a neat movie and the Robin Williams robot is pretty funny. I don' know why Disney keeps it closed (but who knows why Disney makes some of the lousy decisions it keeps making). It just makes Tomorrowland less of a draw. Between that and CoP being close, and Alien Encounter which is worthless in our book, not much left. We do Space Mtn and Buzz, hit the shops and leave the area.

I wish that they would open it for good. I usually travel to WDW in the 'off' seasons so I never get to see it! I love the show, its hilarious!

That's all I want, is for the Timekeeper to be open once during one of my visits! But as I usually go during very low-crowd times of year, the chances of that are pretty nil. I regret not seeing it when I had the chance... but isn't that always the way?

I do, however, love Tomorrowland, even with out this attration or COP (another I haven't seen since... well, if ever, I was very, very small!). I'm one of those odd ducks who absolutely LOVES the peoplemover and have since... well, since back when it was still called the WEDWAY people mover! Also love Space Mountain, Buzz and I have to admit I'm a huge fan of Alien Encounter. Boy, I've never known a ride which could so divide an audience... love it or hate it, not a whole lot of inbetweens!

they say it's open seasonally, but it's not. I've been in MK during very crowded on season times and it has never been open. They shut it down for good and forgot to inform the guests.

It's always closed when we're there too.

I was lucky enough to be at WDW in February a few years back with CoP AND Timekeeper open. I love CoP, and I thought Timekeeper was fun too. It's a shame they keep it closed all the time now. :(

I'd actually prefer to see Timekeeper stay open and Alien Encounter close (it's being revamped soon, right?) To me, Timekeeper is much more in the Disney spirit than AE... I won't get near that thing. Yuck.

I've always gone in late September/early October, and have never seen COP or Timekeeper open. I'd love to at least get a chance to like or hate them....

I've seen Timekeeper the last two times I've been there (both in the "off" season). I just wish there was more Robin Williams in it...but I guess that since it's Disney/family-oriented, he can't be his normal, manic (read: raunchy) self!

You can add me to the list of people who like this attraction. On one of our trips last year it was open and we got to see it again. I love the feeling of flying free. Since I will never sky dive, I guess this is the closest I will ever get to the snesation of flying.

I personally did not care for Alien Encounter, but that is just my opinion and I do realzie that a lot of people do like it. I do agree with a previous poster that timkekeeper seems to be more in the Disney spirit. As much as I hate seeing the "thrill rides" moving into Disney I also realzie that they have to keep up with the other parks in a way.

I liked the attraction. And as it handled a large number of guests, I don't see the rationale for keeping it closed, especially when a headliner attraction (BTMRR) is down for rehab.

Robin Williams' line "What trip through the English countryside is complete without a visit from a man named Trevor? Hello, Trevor!" is great. You just know he ad-libbed it from the video.

I'm one of the ones who have never been able to see either Timekeeper or COP.

You'd think after 5 trips we would have hit one! Our November trips have been during Jersey Week, Super Soaps and Veterans day. There are crowds then! This last trip started on Labor Day so hoped they would have one open. Not to be.

If it weren't for folks on these boards who have been to these attactions, I'd say they are myths!

Maybe some day...

How could I forget the peoplemover? Yes, I love it too. We ride it every visit. Wouldn't miss it. Its the only way left to get a nice aerial view of the park since the skyway closed.
