Are the wildfires having any effect on DL?

I was winderung the same. Hopefully they can put out the fires!!! I am glued to the news.

Not yet. Unless you hear about fires in Orange County don't worry to much about them.

Whew.. I was starting to think that I was bad luck like Hurley on Lost. We were originally supposed to got to New Orleans. I am not missing my birthday trip to DL!!

CaptKangaroo is correct. If it isn't in Orange County, it's not very close to DL. I do wish they would get them all under control, though.

The air was perfect, I had to evacuate my area, so I thought, I know where to go and I took my cousin who was visiting from out of town to Disneyland, you would never know there were fires in So Cal that day.

was at Dl resort last week when the fires broke out. There was no smoke or smell of smoke any where around DL. I saw a news cast that showed the wind blowing West over the Pacific. BTW the first fire started by a person welding at a chicken farm. The buildings were destroyed and reportedly 70,000 chickens perished.

We were there over the weekend. When we drove in Friday night we could see the fire in the hillside around the Burbank area and smell mild smoke. DL is a ways from there, though, and all was fine there! When we traveled home Sunday evening there was no fire or smoke that we could see.
