I guess I should clarify this... It's not the proximity to the school that is upsetting Peg per say, it's the fear that word will get out at the school and her DD may suffer consequences. (i.e. teasing or parents not allowing their children to associate) I don't think Peg has a gripe with strip bars in general, just the fact that it is her daughter's father opening one.
Also, this would be (as far as I know) the only strip club in that area - perhaps the entire town. I would name the town but I don't want to chance exposing Peg's identity. Let's just say it's in the buckle of the Bible belt. There is no possible way this club will go unnoticed.
