How about putting the security guards on Golf carts where the can see or hear whats going on. Not ridding in their SUV's with the A/c on, windows closed and a cell phone stuck in their ear.

That would save time, money, and natural resources, and it owuld make sense. Besides, the golf cart wouldn't look nearly as cool as the SUV. And if they have to put down the cell phone they won't look as busy, either.

Nope, won't happen. Makes too much sense.

Now that we have that out of the way... I have to take my hat off to the bus drivers at WDW, but at the Fort in particular. It isn't just the kids that do dumb things. I am of the opinion that a lot of adults forget to unpack their brains when they set up at the Fort.

For what it's worth, when I was at The Fort in August, I was told that the boy on the bike blew a tire and that is what made him wind up in the path of a bus. If that's the case, that could have happened to any of us that ride bikes around The Fort.

I didn't say anything about the bike incident. You must have meant to quote Larry. I think the bus drivers do an outstanding job.

On Wednesday, 60-year-old Henry Messer of Winchester, Ind., was ejected from a Harley Davidson golf cart at the park. Police say both suffered head trauma.
Police say Messer was pronounced dead at the Bowling Green Medical Center. Phillips was taken to the local hospital, but then flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., where she died.

I hate to say this, but it all goes back to common sense. Folks just seem to lose it all when vacationing. I wonder about golf cart accidents when on a golf course... I definitely believe the backwards facing seat should have a seatbelt. That is my worst fear when having the kids back there. I am a worry wart though...

Thats exactly why my cart has them, it's not the worry wart thing as much as the ounce of prevention thing.

Your cart has seatbelts? For what? I thought something should move before it get's seatbelts. One day Bob is going to get Tungpo to build a cart with a 454 in it and all this raggin I do on him will be over lol.

It doesn't bother me, it's paid for and I don't have to pay $63+ a day for a cart
