Oh good! I saw on FB you lost them.
Glad to hear your mom was released and you were able to vacation.
Very nice of your sister to step up and help.

I feel the same way about the cruises. Thanks everyone!!! Mom is back to normal now and doing good. Yeah, it was a bit of scare that night, for sure. It is never fun to see paramedics working on your loved onesBut I'm glad that I listened to her when she insisted we go on our trip. She bounced back quickly and would have felt bad if we had missed our trip.
The cruise itself was wonderful. Although as much as I love all the new technology on the Fantasy, it seems to have less of the the personal touches that we get on the Wonder. CMs are much busier and we didn't have the personal interaction that we love on the smaller ships.
The weather was off and on rain (typical for the time of year) but it was never cold. DS and I sat out on the verandah one night watching the lightening off in the distance and it was so beautiful.
We enjoyed our tour of St. Maartin the best. Seeing the planes take off and land at Maho Beach was so cool!!
WOO HOO!!! Sounds awesome!!!

Ugh I am getting ticked off. My work is doing this "emergency preparedness plan" to keep business rolling in the case of an emergency... because you know the company is the most important thing. Their solution is to take our laptops everywhere. Just got an email from my boss to grab it if we have a fire drill/fire. WTH!
My coworker asked if HR was ok with that and I asked what if we drop it outside and she said "Don't"
Hmmm......I'm pretty sure that you're supposed to leave everything behind in the event of a fire. I'm also pretty sure that your company should have a backup plan for their IT data storage. What happens if the laptop crashes?
Right?!?!?!
It's not a plan for data storage (we have bunkers in different places in the country for that)... it's a plan for work continuity. So that we can make sure we still get work done even if our office, house, etc burns down or the government collapses. Because working will be my first priority...![]()
