Are Magic Bands Shipped by Regular U.S. Mail?

Our Magic Bands are due to be shipped soon and I'm nervous about delivery. We will be traveling, so our mail will be on hold. I've been trying to figure out another address to have them shipped to, but seems like everybody we know will be on the road in August.

So, Experienced Disboarders, will the bands be shipped via regular mail so that they will be held with the rest of our held mail at the local post office? Or will they be dropped on the doorstep like UPS or Fedex does? I know we can just pick them up at the resort, but family members are arriving at different times and on different Magical Express times, so I want them to have the MBs ahead of time.

Ours are delivered to our mailbox (USPS) every time and have never been late.

mine has also been delivered by USPS and has been in our mail box

My bands were also in the mailbox, delivered via USPS Parcel Post.

Ours came in the regular mail, but we have a mail slot instead of a box. Our mailman rang the doorbell and gave them to DH.

In our neighborhood we have a cluster of mailboxes for each street. We had this at our rental house too before we moved into our permanent home. Our rental house's mailbox was more shallow but taller and the one we have at our permanent home is deeper but is not as tall.

I don't know the exact measurements of the box they ship them in but USPS will put any mail which includes boxes in our mailbox unless it doesn't fit. If it doesn't fit they put it on our porch. They usually put it right by our front door or behind one of our pillars supporting the porch (we have a craftman's style home if you can picture what those pillars look like). Even when they put it by our front door they do try to keep it out of line of sight by kinda putting it in line with the pillars (to deter the obvious point of having a package at our doorstep).

I would assume they would be held just like any other piece of mail if you chose to hold it. You may contact your local post office branch and discuss this particular issue with them.

Thanks all for sharing your experiences! Sounds like we'll be okay and the box will just be there with other held mail when we get home. I'm such a worry wart!

We received ours a few weeks ago via the USPS and our carrier brought it to the door because I had to sign for it. I don't remember that happening last year - I think it was just put in our mailbox that time. I'm not sure why I needed to sign for it this time.
