Are 6 Character Meals too many for a 5 day/4 night stay?

Keeping in mind that:
1) our kids LOVE characters
2) we are not big "thrill" ride people
3) our meals are: Crystal Palace, Akershus, Tusker House, 1900 PF for a breakfast and a dinner, Ohana.

Thoughts?

It looks like you'll be dining with a great variety of characters, so as long as your kids like characters it should be a great time! IMHO, sitting down for a meal with character interaction is way better than standing in line.

we had 5 last year for a 6 day trip. It was my turning 3 year old niece's first trip and we had Free DDP. wanted to do as many as we could book because we had decided that our next trip (2016) the kids will want to spend more time on attractions and less time sitting in TS restaurants. Was glad we did it, plus the 2 year old ate free at the character meals.

If our family likes characters go for it.

We did: CM, CP, CRT, Akershus and 1900 PF

Agree. Just be sure to bring a camera.

For our family, it would be too much. The girls would get so excited they couldn't eat and not eating leads to unhappy kids at some point. Plus, we ARE ride people, so that's a lot of time NOT riding. You know your family best.

:thumbsup2 I think you answered your own question in the first two things you posted. You also picked nice ones and I'm sure the kids will eat, there is plenty of time to do so and a variety of things they can pick. Win-Win for your family.

I don't think so, personally... but we also love our characters here (and try to book at least 1 a day when doing our planning) -- even though we *are* ride people.

It's a wonderful part of the experience, and character dining gives you time and photos with each of the characters -- so I'd say go for it (if your family is the type to love it).

We are only staying 3 nights and I have 4 scheduled!! :D a lunch, 2 breakfasts and a garden grill dinner! If I can find a chef Mickey on my one open morning I'll end up with 5 total lol ;)

as long as the kids are happy is all that matters! Love the Character dinners, and watching the kids interact. 1900 Park Fare for dinner was a blast with the stepsisters :) Have a magical time!:grouphug:
