Aquaduck - A Line Etiquette Question

On some levels I am ok with this. We all do this at different times for different reasons. We have had someone duck out of a super long mdr meal to get inline for an activity, or duck out of a tasting a touch early to do this and the 1 the finished the previous activity joined our family once the activity completed. This I don't have an issue with, it is the guy that cuts in with no family or friends that bothers me.

I will say that this whole discussion reminds me the impractical jokers episode with Joe yelling 'Larry' like he is looking for a guy while seriously cutting to the front of a huge line lol.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. Your child wouldn't be allowed to go up alone, and having your child go up the stairs and around everyone with the stairs being slippery from it being wet, I wouldn't risk it. I'm guessing you are wanting to slow down the wait time. For a shorter wait time, I recommend doing the Aquaduck while in port. I decided to cut my Castaway Cay day a little shorter than normal on my last cruise, and I never waited more than 5 minutes. I have never tested the line while the Dream is in Nassau.

No reason for me to pile on here in agreement but I nothing wrong with taking the time to commend you on at least asking.

Sometimes the rules of acceptable conduct are a bit fuzzy so I like to check if I'm unsure. :-)

I'm going to hijack my own thread for a minute. Here's a variously acceptable/unacceptable situation I've noticed on cruise boards before. The child as fecal teabag in the public swimming pool. I know that on Disney and most (all?) cruiselines, kids who aren't toilet trained aren't allowed in the pools. In the city I live in, babies in diapers are allowed in public pools, provided they're wearing those plastic swim pants. Without asking - or at least researching - I wouldn't have known that about cruise ship pools.

*Fecal teabag - not my term. I read it on a Celebrity thread, I think.

Just what it sounds like. Think about it. Baby in swimming pool wearing disposable diaper (well, any diaper). Soiled diaper sits in water for prolonged time......yuck.

Even with the tightest fitting plastic pants, water from the pool will get into a diaper.

I've read that term on several cruise sites.

My question is one of etiquette. As per the height restriction, she will always be going down the slide with an adult. Is there anything wrong with two of us lining up at up different points so that she can go down the slide with Papa, then join Grandma in the line up to go down the slide again?
That's going to be very difficult because the line goes up a narrow staircase. She would have difficulty getting past all the other people behind you.

Later this year we'll be on the Dream with our 6 year-old granddaughter who loves, loves, loves waterslides.

Again, I'm not talking about "letting her in", she'd be going down the slide with one of us each time.

I think this should be ok, but I didn't want to breach Disney etiquette on our first cruise with them. :-)
I wouldn't see a problem with it at all. It's not like anyone is cutting in line. Do it and make her happy!
