Can anyone suggest where I can buy some aqua shoes for the water parks and Discovery Cove? I've looked on the internet in the UK, prices seem to be around £14 for adults and £10 for kids.

Would it be best to wait and buy them (possibly cheaper?) in Florida? Do Walmart sell them? I wouldn't even mind paying more for them if they had Mickey Mouse on them!!!LOL

I bought ones like these (see below) from a touristy type shop in St Davids, West Wales. They cost approx £5 but I've seen them for less. You can get them in any seaside town.

Hi

We got some from Walmart and also I got a lovely Disney pair from the Character Outlets in Belz.

You should have no trouble buying some over there, either from Walmart or the water parks shops. The Disney logo ones from the water parks are more expensive (that's a surprise! ) but make a nice souvenir if you'll get some use from them at home (or when you return to Florida ;) )

Hello

We bought the Disney ones 18 months ago at Typhoon Lagoon and from memory the kids' were $8 and the adults' $12. They were worth every penny around the waterparks (the floor was HOT in August!). We've used them since too on the beach etc (no hurt feet when you step on broken shells!)

I don't remember how much they were in WalMart but it was significantly less than at Disney (however DD insisted on the pink Minnie ones!)

Hiya

You can get these type of swimming shoes for the kids from Boots, Next or Mothercare. I'm sure if you look about in the shops you will find them in most shops now. They are all around the £5 mark which is very reasonble. :Pinkbounc

We are getting some for DD ::MinnieMo She had them last year and were great.

Thanks for all your help everyone!

Now I know we can get some Disney ones over there, we'll wait until we get there. They'll be a fantastic souvenir, plus we'll use them back in this country as we're going to Isle of Wight in summer holidays (lots of rock pools there).
