A couple years ago I had a blockage that required a kidney stone to be cut with a laser and removed which caused me to "lose" control and have to immediately find a bathroom or wet myself until it fully healed. I had the following options, cancel the trip or wear depends. I chose the latter and wore depends during the flight (2 hours and 45 minutes) and got told by the stewardess that needed stop getting up every 15 mins and using the bathroom. I barely made it during the entire flight. Went to the parks one day and realized this wasn't gonna work and stayed at the resort for the reminder of the trip while rest of family went to the park. If I had to do it all over again I would have just canceled the trip and rescheduled it at a later date. Not sure you have the option of rescheduling your trip but if you can that is what I would recommend.I'm imagining myself going up to every ride cm and telling them that I'm 8 weeks post rectal surgery with fecal urgency and often have to find a bathroom expediently so I don'tmyself.
Neat.
That's some really close in scheduling! Your calendar always like that!?! I have anxiety and tired just reading your postsDVC rental and the surgery was 64 days out, we were hoping healing would go well (it has) but I don't think I could even fight myself out a line beforeif it came to that. I could bringnsome always discreet with me, just in case but the thought of that area getting all hot/sweaty and something that absolutely isn't going to breathe
None of it was planned. My hysterectomy ten days after the trip however is.
All you have to say is that you need to use the bathroom; you don’t need to tell the CMs your diagnosis, all they care about is what accommodation you need.I'm imagining myself going up to every ride cm and telling them that I'm 8 weeks post rectal surgery with fecal urgency and often have to find a bathroom expediently so I don'tmyself.

It will depend upon the attraction, the queue configuration, and where you were in the line. Disney CMs are generally very good at coming up with fair and reasonable solutions; a mother traveling with her 5-year old daughter who has a potty emergency right before boarding Peter Pan after waiting in line for an hour, for example, will not have to go back to the start of the line and wait another hour, and neither will you and your mom.I would like to know how you return to queue if you are a party of 2. I need to accompany my elderly mother to the companion restroom. We have no one to meet up with in the queue. Anyone experience this yet?
Possibly return through the exit to reunite with the rest of the party? Or the rest of the party waits at the boarding area while the person who needed to leave the line returns through the LL? There are several possible solutions.Has anyone answered this question? -- what if this happens after the last merge point available? Not all rides are like ROTR.
That's my THOUGHT too - want to see if that actually translates into practice and operations.Possibly return through the exit to reunite with the rest of the party? I'm still hoping we might hear some experiences.can a mod close this thread? It’s pretty well devolved from the original idea and doesn’t seem to have any traction.

Maybe wait a bit longer? Even looking at other platforms regularly, there haven’t been a lot of real-life reports of using AQR yet - it’s almost all speculation and questions still. We maybe need to get to the time when DAS approvals done pre-new rules run out to see more. FWIW I plan on doing some real-life AQR testing in a couple weeks - I’m happy to report back here or on the big DAS thread, or in both.I'm still hoping we might hear some experiences.
Plus a bit more.We should wait until the 20th where everyone DAS under the old system expired and maybe we will see more development.
Agreed; the process probably will evolve too after initial surge and feedback. Having a central clearinghouse for reports on this specific process would be nice to keep openPlus a bit more.
And, keep in mind that people at the same attraction may have different experiences depending on where they were
