APs and Magic Bands?

The last time we had APs we got an AP shipment of Magic Bands that included AP sliders. We have several WDW room only trips scheduled this summer and we decided to purchase APs online again. We have already customized our Magic Bands for our upcoming trips but there isn't anyplace on my Magic Bands page to customize bands for the AP purchase. Do AP holders no longer get an additional Magic Band if they are already "scheduled" to receive one for a resort stay?

I'm pretty sure I got one last year after I renewed my AP. I checked MDE online, but I have bunches so I can't tell now which would be my AP magic band. I don't renew until the end of May so I don't know if I'll get another one or not.

If you are not renewing your AP (it's not continuous and it's a new AP purchase), then you will have the option online for your AP Magic Bands after you activate your APs onsite.

as the PP stated, once you activate your AP you will get the option to customize your band. I just came back from my stay at the Boardwalk using my AP for the first time when we were down there. I got my room only bands before we left and then when I got home I was able to pick the new bands that went along with my new passes and they are shipping now.

You'll activate your AP in person then you'll get a notification that you can customize it
